Look up the invulnerability frames it gives. It'll give you an idea of how late you can press it.
Lets say head invuln starts at frame 7, that's like a 2A jab startup for some characters. Think you're too late to 2A them? Don't press it. Yes it's weird to think when they're in the air, but it's how I learned.

I think part of it is the fact that Mu is Noel and I hate Noel in general. Losing to Noel irritates me more than a good deal of other characters. But between her long and fast as fuck normals and the level of space she can control it's a seriously unfun experience.

Dustloop's wiki on Bullet is a thing you can use as a reference then. Honestly I'm shit and don't feel comfortable offering advice but I don't want to leave you hanging either. Just know that 2A is your friend and that 2C is trash and you don't want to get in the habit of spamming it. 623B is going to be your common midscreen follow up to a 5D since it places you right next to the opponent for pressure, and you can RC it for more damage. As for 236C, it can wall splat and you can follow it up depending on heat level.
Level 0 - Follow up with 5A in the corner
Level 1 - Follow up with 6B
Level 2 - Follow up with 6C or a charged 236A
A delayed 5C can be used for frame trapping, her overhead (6A) chains into 5C as well. 6C is invulnerable to lows, 236C is immune to projectiles (but not on startup for whatever reason), her 720 is actually super good, but ONLY use the follow ups if you are at HU Lvl2 and can kill with it. Hopefully someone else better can provide assistance.

I've played about 150 matches against a Kagura player in this and you get used to the bullshit. You just have to keep applying pressure to him and learn to react to the crossup.
You'll start seeing it when you start focusing on what he's doing and get comfortable with your own character.

Few tips I can give you.
He really wants to hit the crossup in the corner for massive damage so expect it when you are cornered.
Never airdash away from him, if you want to get away, just chickenblock with barrier, you might even get a punish if he does something stupid.
As I said before he's very weak to pressure so he's looking for opportunities to flashkick/super you if you're pressuring him in mid range and you can bait those.

You do a crouching barrier right? It blocks lows, mids, and all that jazz. However, if they teleport behind you, you'll throw out a 2B instead; it works better on teleport-reliant Izayoi's or Azraels. Or, you know, you could just block backwards when you see it coming because it's -8 when blocked anyway.
