Not really. Superspeed is good because it shifts your in-combat speed to ooc speed. Ooc speed will always feel like the fast one and having a swiftness crutch only matters in combat, which for some classes isn't a big deal. Having that permanent 33% boost would make some classes infinitely more usable in mapping and even in pvp as you wouldn't be automatically disadvantaged for picking a slow class without a 25% movespeed passive. As long as the movement boost is only for in-combat i dont think it'd reach the same necessity levels as passive 25% or permaswift has now.

I run glyph of resto because it's the best heal for me and my play style. As a full zerk tempest I don't need to waste time on a heal that literally takes time away from me doing dps. Mace and shortbow
The shortbow is one you furries will like, it's designed with tiger crap. When you draw it, a tiger will infuse itself into the bow, think dreamer and nevermore together. You leave paw footprints. That's all they have for it right now. They also made the projectiles rather special though I think it's just retarded.
As for the mace, it's an incredible one. It's a rocky-ish mace. When you draw it, some sort of black rocks will collapse onto it and form the weapon itself. They're considering obsidian for it right now.

Centaur is a pipedream because they're so radically different shaped that assuming a dev that whinges and moans about having to fit armor to the charr doing something with two torsos is laughable.
But Tengu are very possible. They can adopt a lot of stuff from the charr (and until recently they literally were just a bird model over the charr skeleton/animations).

I've seen reapers and they just shit out minions that give them 50%- inc damage, and with revs/heralds it's all about passive buffs and shit and just spamming auto until you use the MLG 'teleports behind u 6000 times' skill, or then you use the shield skill that makes you invuln for 5 seconds or w/e. That shit is basic as fuck.

The most intense 'high level' play I've seen was shown to me by my mesmer friend, she's fucking awesome at mesmer and was using combinations and movements that I hadn't ever seen before. And therefore she was incredibly effective, because she knew the guts of her class, inside and out, and because she was playing a class that becomes really, really fucking stronk the more you understand it, AND because she knew the ins and outs of hte environment - couple that with my limited knowledge of mesmer and she was pretty much a god.
So you can either do what she did and actually put time and effort into learning your class and the environments you play in.
or you can just be a herald/reaper and get carried by the class mechanics.

Silverwastes are decent gold. You open any bags you get on a lower level character.
Figure out a proper gathering route.
Fractals are hard to ignore because they are pretty decent daily gold on top of the ascended chance. Doing all dailies you can average between 10-15 gold a day from them for an hour of work.

Oh you meant the pick up level, I figured we're talking about the mid-high end of skill level. I'd argue that even in ease of learning herald is in line if not harder than thief just due to sheer amount of buttons to press, especially with passive crystal hibernation not being popular anymore. My main point is that the difference between a good herald and an average one is like night and day. Whilst there's some difference between mid and high thieves I don't think the difference is as drastic due to the class operating around mechanics that have far less counterplay. There's just less ways to be good on a thief whereas a good herald will be able to utilize all the bullshit tools at their disposal and play around the counterplay.
Take shiro (or even glint) elite for example. You can pop the skill before weapon swap, it plays the visual, costs no energy and most likely forces an action out of your opponent. Against a skilled opponent having a class with tools like that will make all the difference and can turn otherwise unfavorable matchups to your advantage. Thief is still all about picking your fights as there's not that much extra you can do with the buttons provided to you.
Not that any of this really matters since we're playing conquest in a game with little to no playerbase.

What I like to do with run between Red and Indigo forts. This is a nice route with a lot of events to tag. You have the red-indigo caravan to defend, you can tag the defense events for red and indigo forts, the repair event for red, sometimes you can tag the outgoing red-yellow caravan defense, and of course all the "clear the mordrem" vet mob events. If you get a good rhythm going you can amass a disgusting amount of bags in a single cycle.
There days there's a guild (maybe a couple?) that organize multi-hour SW farms. These are good to get into because the events and cycles fly by and you can farm that shit until your eyes bleed. Look for their groups in the lfg.

Ways to make money in GW2, from most profitable to least:
1) buy gold with real money. Time is money, after all, and gem-to-gold prices are always going to rise. Of course this method also means you're likely to be less proficient at the game itself.
2) Play the TP. Some people are quite good at this and have hundreds of thousands of gold worth of gear (a +20 agony infusion is 10,000g and there's plenty of people with +30s running around). Conversely, this is also a good way to lose a lot of money.
3) Farming 50+ Fractals. It's relatively fast and the drops are good, but they require the investment to get there (gear, experience, and fractal masteries).
4) Silverwaste. Easy, reliable, good payout, but mind-numbingly boring. >>136192738 is a good method. There are quite a few guilds that routinely do rotating SW trains (I believe Silverwastes Anonymous and Too Much Loot are both still running; the latter does 7+ hour trains at least twice a week). Averages ~5-25g per hour if you rotate well and sell everything.
5) EoTM triple K-train. Only a few do this now, since it's difficult to coordinate people who are on different colored servers every week, but this can be an astoundingly fast way to gain WvW rank and not too terrible for champ bags either.
6) HoT meta events. They're decent *if* your map moves at a decent pace, else they're much less efficient and reliable than Silverwastes.
7) General PVE. Slow, won't make much money.
8) WvW. You're actively losing money/time here unless.
