Ranger, Noblesse, and Weapon Master are the unholy superfunding trio.
If you want a class that's easy to play and still works great for most endgame content then most of them are going to be "fixed" damage classes, that is classes which get most of their damage from fixed damage sources:
- Asura (M. Slayer)
- Battlemage (F Mage, you basically roll your face on the chaser button and collect kills)
- F Spitfire (Grenades. They may seem 'alright' early on, but soon you'll be killing shit constantly)
- Exorcist (Priest, a percent class, but does such stupid damage that he's easy as piss to play, if a bit on the boring side for me personally)
- M Grappler (Grabs have tons of invul frames, allowing you make combos in piece and kill everything)
- Chaos (Knight, you literally roll your face on the keyboard and the screen blows up multiple times.)
- Dark Templar (Disgusting amounts of damage, tons of holds/grapples, and you wear the best armour in the game)
- Any Launcher (Any Gunner, do you like being able to kill enemies from several screens away? This is for you)
- Glacial Master (M Mage, Immortality is great for newbies and freeze is the best status aliment in the game, which this class does in spades)

Make sure you pick a sexy first character like kunoichi and make sure your first characters name is super cute or sexton or you will get annoyed by the name in the long run.
Also pick a good class I'd say start of with kunoichi or vagabond or witch but it really is up to you since I started off with friends launcher and for brawler.
Honestly the journey is more fun, when I say journey I mean the levels from 1 to 85 is infinitely better than being stuck at 85 and grinding he'll mode with no drops unless you are like a complete retard then you will somehow have 5 epics drop for you all at once every time then complain about you getting all the wrong epics.
Pick a good fun class that you hopefully will like aND a good name, have fun and once you reach 85 either gring for epics or start up another cool character. I SUGGEST to start off with only 2 characters and focus on them until you reach 85 end cap, otherwise you will focus on many characters and never reach the lv cap with any of them being stuck at the 60s or 70s.

They are fine for leveling up, but not in the endgame.
Vagabond's damage comes from nearly all burst moves. Once they're on cooldown, they're shit. This means if the enemies are still alive after your bursts? You run around like a headless chicken waiting for them to come off CD.
To solve this, you either need specific epic gears or an insanely upgraded weapon.

Evolve had a huge update that they already had QA'd and compiled, ready to be shipped out to within minutes of being given approval.

Evolve went from the ~400-500 daily daily peak players to ~300, and the average players dipped from around 350 to 100-175.
The gooks aren't dumb enough to let this game just flat out die, worst case scenario is they lower shop prices, replace fatigue with blitz, and get DFO back onto steam and piggyback off the casual audience since leveling is now a very casual level of grinding for the most part.
and if it does die again, it will never be brought back and we'll have people reverse-engineer the game and create their own servers and it'd probably be more enjoyable that way too.

Blitz is a significantly better choice for newer and casual players than fatigue is, because when casual players realize they can run out of "FP" and are forced to stop playing a character, they're completely turned off by this mechanic and simply don't come back. So if the game had lost too many players and they couldn't sustain a profitable income, their best bet aside from completely shutting down the game would be to switch to blitz and rely on filler events and steam population to keep the game chugging along on life support.
I'm not here to argue if Blitz > Fatigue and vice versa, i'm stating that Blitz is significantly more likely to help with player retention than fatigue would, whether or not blitz is a "Good" thing for this game is a highly debatable subject that I quite frankly don't give enough of a shit to debate about.

It's very rare, to pair up the words "Ranger" and "Ocelot" together, without taking consideration of the thought and or action.
"Ranger" hold no meaning outside of the Game's definition of "Revolver wielding Gunslinger," also the Ranger promotes to Desperado (Spanish for "Hopeless Man") and then to Raven (A type of bird, which vastly unrelated to the feline Ocelot).
If you were to check back in the MGS lore, "Revolver Ocelot" was not a title until MGS2, In MGS4 he was known as "Liquid Ocelot", in MGS3 it was known as "Ocelot", and lastly in MGS5 Ocelot had a new moniker: "Shalashaska".
So to say that: "the both of you had the same idea" isn't impossible, its very highly unlikely that one didn't think of it before the other.
The other two evidences that supports my argument that "that/those/these" players are name squatting is that:
Ocelot is already claimed, why would you want to muddle the name/title with another adjective? Ocelot as a Gunner, a Ranger subclass, the Meme is already set, people get it.
If Ocelot is a lvl 1 Gunner, then why is rangerocelot a lvl 1 Creator?, "rangerocelot" could've easily been another Gunner, why name squat on another class that is unrelated to the meme, the IDEA of Ocelot. What is so important that both Ocelot and rangerocelot must be taken, and be separate classes and unpromoted?
Why spend Cera using a Name Change? If the name was available from the start, why name squat it on another class, and spend Cera to Name Change?
Funding a Class and Playing a Class are also two separate reasoning. You don't need to heavily fund a class in order to play it. In fact there shouldn't be any funding just to get to Level 15 and Sub Class Promote.
