The thing I like most about LeBlanc is how in place of a true ultimate she basically has 4 regular skills (really 3 regular skills), it keeps me from making the same mistakes I make on almost literally almost every champ in the game, mistiming/using an ult. Either I never use it when I should because I'm thinking "oh no what if I waste it, what if I fuck it up", or I do exactly that and blow it carelessly and it's not up when I need it.

Riot systematically nerfed almost everything about doing well in the first 25 minutes and just ending the game. Partly with "comeback" mechanics, partly with convoluted turret, minion, baron, dragon, and jungle changes, and partly with item builds and "I can do everything even if behind" champion design that really started in high gear with Zed (Lee Sin was the progenitor of the cancer).
The first 20-25 minutes literally do not mean much of anything anymore. You can feed like an absolute retard and if you are on a champion like gangplank, fiora, etc. it simply does not matter. They get that one pickoff at 25 minutes, they deathball everything and win.

No it isn't. Because it used to be that if you played like a complete shitbag and fed 5 kills in 10 minutes, you'd be losing inhibs at 15-20.
The first 10-15 minutes is a literal PvE fest. Midlane used to be gankable (seriously, watch old replays or vods from season 2), and top lane wasn't purely balls of stats hitting each other ineffectually. Junglers were tied to being gankers and then utility rather than being secondary AP carries or the like (like Gragas).
First blood before 2 minutes was common, and a feeding botlane played behind for literally 30 minutes if they wanted to win.
What we have no is an absolute joke. With deathballs ending the game once the death timers get even slightly longer. All these forced fucking objectives trying to force people out of PvEing all fucking game when they deliberately "designed" themselves into this box. Baron buffs is a tragedy of common sense and this. combined with dynamic queue, would never have been necessary had they made the real changes they should have made to the game ages ago.
What a dogshit game this has become.
