I played one Neptunia game and I didn't like it. It wasn't good. It was the opposite of good. It was bad. It wasn't fun. It had no satisfying or rewarding gameplay mechanics. The characters were unoriginal. The story was unoriginal.
Really the only thing I liked was the overall premise, but that novelty wears pretty thin once the generic story comes into play.
Oh, the character designs are really good though. I'll give them that at least.

I do. The gameplay in Kiseki is about as horrid and uninspired as you can get, there is absolutely nothing in it that hasn't been done a billion times before. In fact, it's even worse than mediocre because the game doesn't automatically move your AoE attacks to hit the maximum number of targets, so you have to spend like 30 seconds every attack wiggling the stick ever so slightly to try and line it up correctly.

Characters aren't overly reliant on tropes, on they don't resort to pandering to attract peoples attention. They're fairly simplistic, but still well written with very clear motivations.
This alone puts it above the vast majority of JRPGs.
They also don't just pander to the lowest common denominator which also puts it above most other weeb games.

SSD isn't weeb at all. Freedom Wars is pretty weeb, but it's got legit good gameplay. P4G is pretty weeb, but it manages to have good characters, an interesting story and really good gameplay. It's one of the few JRPGs that really bridge the gap between normie and weeb (which is why snobby weebs hate it). Killzone Mercenaries isn't weeb. Gravity Rush isn't weeb. Dragon's Crown isn't weeb.

The only problem with P4 is they made some things more convenient and less frustrating but just forgot to balance the game properly.

Fusion is still tied to the shitty S.Links.
3 was challenging enough on Expert, in 4 the only thing that ever caused me a game over was one Mamudoon shot in the midgame.
Basically it took 3, made more dumb changes to it without fixing the retarded aspects of it, and somehow people still suck its cock to high heavens.

Randomly generated dungeons are shit. Easily the weakest part of P4.
Shit being tied to social links was actually one of my favorite things about the game.
As far as difficulty goes, they're both pretty much the same if you ask me. I think outside of fighting Persona 3 has a much more stringent time limit. It's much harder to max out all social links and shit.
