Why does no one build mek on OD? He'll never run out of mana to use it and it provides great survivability. You can build it into guardian greeves that give good mana pool increase and late game survivability.
You don't have to build it all at once either, just stick with a headdress for a while and build it after you have farmed your more important items and gotten ganks.
Personally, I like to go headdress -> second ring of regen (for later force staff) -> treads -> blink -> moonshard (for greater fight and farm potential)-> finish mek -> everything else.

This is how it will probably go. Yes, Enchantress is now nerfed as a DPS hero but she can be utilized as a heavy support that will fuck you up in the late game. The only remaining fucks to be balanced are Invoker and DP: DP's E shouldn't pierce BKB and should stop once she's disabled or the target is invulnerable (i.e. Astral'd, Eul's, etc.). Invoker should not be getting a motherfucking free haste rune while invis, +20HP/regen, and a free +100 damage once he gets level 16 because it's just so fucking imbalanced not to mention downright retarded when even just an average Invoker player can 1v3 and come out on top when it's just 20-30 mins into the game.

korean here, stayed up to watch MVP beat EG last night, and it was exciting to see them finally win a LAN.
from what i have read though, there are people here and on reddit that actually believe that an entire Korean scene will appear out of nowhere just bc one of the two competitve Dota 2 teams in all of Korea (both of which belong to the same organization) won a LAN. just to give you some ideas, ive attended one of the largest universities in Korea for three years, and so far ive met five people who regularly play dota 2, and a handful more who have even tried it. everyone i know that plays dota, has all played since WC3.
however, fomos.kr (a popular Korean news sites for sports, kpop news, gaming, esports etc. that is read by many LoL/SC fans) posted three articles since this morning about MVP winning. the first one they posted is the most viewed, and i think the other two are in the top 6 most viewed. so idk, maybe if Valve decide to invest more in Dota 2, even basic things like a Korean server, things will change, but it seems very difficult.
tldr: nothing here will change unless Valve want to put money towards building Korean dota 2

you dont need starcraft level mechanics or anything even close to play heroes like meepo. its not a lot of management at all
it may take you like 10-20 games but youll get the point where you can focus on playing the game and not playing the hero
with meepo you basically want to use your clones to stack camps for yourself and farm as fast as possible but at first that may seem like a lot of input to you. its not

youll also need pretty good reflexes to save a dying meepo
learn how to press buttons really fast, the faster you can do the 5-man poof or 5-man net poof the easier the time youll have killing people. meepo is really good at punishing people for roaming by themselves
theres a huge ceiling as to how mechanically proficient you can be with meepo (you can treadswitch on your clones, bottle individual meepos, stuff like that)

I've lost my enthusiasm for this game. I don't know what happened...maybe it was just the fact The International ended. There we saw insane coordinated play and just the most try-hard yet intriguing team comps. Maybe it was because Navi lost to a boring yet effective meta (the tri-core split push that Alliance is perfect at executing). Maybe it's because I got a full time job.
Back then, I would eagerly hit find match, and hone my skills from game to game, unswayed by wins, losses, the need to sleep, social activity...now it's just I pop open the game. Build a refresher after finishing your Aghanim's Scepter.
Use this combo when the enemy team is pushing your towers and your teammates are worthless pieces of shit who can't defend.
Tornado > EMP > Meteor > Blast
It is suggested to not use a refresher and then Meteor > Blast.
Instead, use a refresher and do the full combo again for maximum damage.
Surely you can catch 4-5 enemies for the second time in your 2nd tornado

I went from 3k to 4.5k and in the lower brackets as soon as you enter the game everybody pings mid or safe lane and there's fights from before the game starts, everyone thinks they have to carry their way out of the trench or something, in the higher bracket people actually know how to play more than one role so there's a lot less fights over them and you can usually go a whole game with the team understanding each other without having to type in chat, which makes games a lot more bearable.
