In a way you have a point, because it turns out the adornment was actually worthless, which is somewhat surprising given how I've done well over 100 exile runs over 2 characters and this is the second time I've seen the adornment.
But I do own all of the player character cosmetics so in a way it was better than getting a second mask or something. Just about.

if you're currently at true profane stage 10, it will cost you approximately 235g to get to awakened pirate stage 1. this is IF you buy all of your soulstones. if you farm them yourself it'll be 179g.
i also didnt include poh oil and hajimo because youll probably get those just from farming bsh/poh anyway.
also doesnt include the cost of actually feeding your weapon to get it through the stages, which can be quite costly but again if you farm poh/bsh for all the money youll have a shit ton of iron offerings to use.
