I took Meryl for a quick run through BBI, Gazer, Bishop plus Daimon 2.0.
She acquitted herself pretty well, used Hailstorm to interrupt, Fivefold to pelt from afar. Fracture was a bit sketch, but it's a tricky skill so that's understandable.
She was a bit lacking on the brainsplitter and had a tendency to spam Cutting Wind on Living Armour, not sure if that's a bug or not.
I ended the run by taking her to the very top of BBI for a nice photoshoot.
Then I jumped off while carrying her. Splat.

Simon, 135 ranger, haven't shilled this pawn here yet, this will be the first. Also recently changed his inclinations, but he's been working well for me so far. Might seem a bit weak, since he's using gold forged dragons glaze, he'll beef up a bit with the last 65 levels of gains.

Well, it's a step forward at least. Most of the time I'm up in the front lines soaking up most of the damage. Did she run out of stamina a lot? I noted that she went full tenfold spam on Ur-Dragon a lot, and never bothered to stop to recover stamina.

Huh, that's weird, Morrigan climbs too. No, I don't ever use 'Go' in combat. I use Help (for buffs from Anna generally) and Come sometimes, if they're off fuck knows where. I've only seen them climb Elder Ogres I think. Maybe also a dragon at one point, but I think I read in one of these threads that there was some bug regarding pawns climbing BBI dragons.
That's pretty odd though, I wonder why Anna (and Morrigan) would behave so differently for me. Evalyne on the other hand almost never climbs Elder Ogres.

About Fulmination, Morrigan doesn't cast it very often with me, not even against lightning-vulnerable enemies. I don't particularly like that spell and don't run it myself because it takes ages to cast and has short range, but just FYI, in case you want her to spam it more.
I don't think she needs neutralizing, getting Grand Fulmination off in close quarters against an Elder Ogre is very hard and bringing it down is definitely the quickest way to kill it, especially if I already have Brontide out. I'm not sure if pawn AI is really sophisticated enough to make that judgement though.

Sent Trepira and Anna back to the rift, gotta head off so figured you deserved the RC from the quick Death kill I got.
Both pretty good, it's hard to really notice a Mage since their spells aren't as flashy flashy as a Sorceror, but she managed to take on a living armour pretty nicely with Comestion.
I'd say give her Grapnel over Frigor personally, since Comestion and Levin will cover all angles for elemental weaknesses in BBI.
She can also carry a lot of Blast Arrows, hue hue hue.
P.S. Sent back Trepira with a pair of shoes, poor barefoot lass.

I'm currently testing out to see how Challenger/Pioneer will work out on Trepira, plus I also gave her Crippling Arrow in place of Encedad Shot so she'll have some extra utility in so far as providing extra damage to everyone else in the group goes.

Affinity doesn't disappear when you go to NG+, so if you've done a couple of playthroughs it'll build up, especially if you do their quest lines. Most of the NPCs are blushing for me, even obscure ones like Aestella.

So far my rationale for avoiding it was that I don't want her to get caught up in a long channeling spell and avoid doing more important shit, like buffing and healing, but it definitely won't hurt to try. Autism got the better of me while farming Death, and I decided to keep track of how many cursed items he'd drop. One hundred kills later, I had 32 Gears, 45 Novelties, 48 level 2 armors, and 4 level 3 armors. No weapons in all that time.
Considering that Death is supposed to be fought in multiple encounters, this haul sucks. It makes me wonder if Capcom realized players would figure out how to cheese him, or if they're just terrible at deciding what rewards are worth it.
