Listen, guy, that's the most overused set of armor in the game and people will murder your pawn on sight for wearing it.
The stats are also tricky, they're not actually as good as they appear in the menu. You shouldn't wear them.
It's a bad armor and ugly, it's outclassed by any vendor stuff too

But seeing a sorcerer in action is a lot funner than actually being one, in my experience. It's a lot of waiting and charging up skills instead of getting up in enemies' faces and dodging and all that.

I really live the oomph of playing Warrior and the 2 handed weapons, even though I know other classes do more damage, Warrior is the best at making you FEEL like you are wrecking shit.
Fighter is very basic, but at the same time very solid. Doesn't have all the oomph of Warrior, but it definitely tries.
Sword and Shield Assassin is great fun too, but I haven't leveled it all the way yet so I can't really know.
I'm a sucker for Parry/Perfect Guard type of moves though, so I'd probably go with Fighter.
Might change answer to Assassin since they can do it as well.

Knock 'em down with huge cinematic charge-up abilities, breaking the ground and making rocks fly everywhere. A fun profession, but sadly not one of the most effective due to Capcom's fetish for agility-based yellow classes and zonky endgame weapon balance.

On normal mode, pretty fun. It's like a Fighter who dropped out of Fighter school and picked up some fancy underhanded tricks to compensate. Set explosive charges, perfect block or shield counter to leap behind your enemies and attack 'em from behind or stylishly detonate your charges. Shield powerups can help boost your damage, and has a unique dodge move that makes you dodge & block without regard to the actual strength of the hit you just blocked. If you wanna jump on things, then the Gouge series is right up your alley.
Probably less effective in Hard Mode since the knockback resistance of enemies skyrockets, making Powder Charge + its upgraded ability much less effective. It's borderline OP in normal mode against lighter enemies, though.

Guys, I alredy have a lvl 200 character where I basically gave no fucks for stat growths, now I wanna do some min-maxing just for funzies and maximum damage. By the way, I'll probaly ditch my main pawn to lvl up faster since I'm alredy familiar with the game, do they catch up quick?

Yeah, when my arisen was 200 my 100 pawn was getting instant level ups for every mice or aught killed
The rubberband effect has to do with exp instead of levels i think, since it was slower for a lv1 pawn to catch up with a lv100 arisen

This. Speaking as someone who had 190 levels of sorcerer before going to MA, the magick bow is STILL the most unsatisfying thing to kill things with in this game.

Yes, very quick. The further away your pawn's XP is from your own, the faster it will catch up. Mine caught up from 169 to 200 in 2-3 Wight farming nights and by the last few levels it had slowed down considerably.
Mind you, the system seems to have some sort of XP per kill cap for your pawn, so if you kill offline Urdy/Death/Daimon or something your pawn won't get millions upon millions of XP instantly. Killing lots of smaller monsters seems to be much more efficient, which is why I killed skeletons.
