I don't even care much for VII's soundtrack, but VIII and especially IX were full of memorable songs. His tracks in X are far and away the best in the game (A Fleeting Dream is one of my favorites) and miles above the others' contributions.
I like his harmonies and instrument choices. Adding things like pan flutes and ocarinas makes his style unique. I recommend listening to the Lost Odyssey OST. It's fantastic.

I would guess that many other people also don't have that luxury. We would have never gotten past hummelfaust without scholar DPS and tanks stance dancing and trying to optimize. A5S itself I don't think tank/healer DPS is necessary, but there's really not a whole lot of healing to do in there. Last I checked Raw Intuition doesn't parry Crits, but with Awareness negating crits you would get a true 100% parry from the front with WI.

The point of Awareness is to cover your ass when you use raw intuition if you don't have all the enemies in front so you don't get crit from behind or the side. With proper placement you won't need it.
Flash is a free taunt that uses MP. I use both flash and overpower to insure aggro so I'm not blowing my TP using overpower.
Later on though, it does become useless but early game it works well.

yeah AV can be rough on a healer if your party likes to take things on the chin, you'll be fine if you can get decent parties or you get yourself a bit overgeared.
