Farm Sim 15 is still pretty relaxing. but i got myself into the habit of tryharding chaff for biofuel millions and it's a lot less fun now. problem is early game is a crawl if you don't focus on a high value plan, but once you get good machines there's really little reason to continue imo.
haven't played a HM game for awhile, but RF is still fun.

yeah, try not to get hit by the minmax bug. forestry was easy as fuck to get into and make a lot of money on early on, and helped make the wait between harvests more bearable. but beyond that i wouldn't recommend getting impatient, really fucked over my enjoyment, mods or not.

definitely, unless you enjoy manually steering and having to remain perfectly straight each row. i messed up too much whenever i tried, so i just hired workers and watched them plow/seed. harvester wasn't as bad though.
oh, and get one of the seeders that also plows at the same time as soon as you can. less tractors, less workers, less time. bigger trailer is nice and if you have a spare tractor you can drive it along side a worker harvester and he'll just continuously fill the trailer, fewer trips to the offload points too. larger harvester heads o faster harvester machines are always good too.

So we can all agree it's a great harvest moon clone, but suffers from the exact same problems that HM does? A dungeon crawler built around the idea of waifus and just enjoying the game with no "you must save the world!!!" bullshit.
And many of the waifus are locked behind specific themed dungeons (maybe seasons? Elements? Or even holidays...) so you have to adventure to find said waifus. Oh, and there will still be a time element, so you have to manage your time wisely behind getting friendly with the waifus and also adventuring, plus periods where dungeons are way harder for whatever reason. And your purpose will be to farm enough to get to the point where you can finish the big bad dungeon boss, then rescue the waifu. Or unseal her or have the boss itself turn into the waifu (like RF4.) And maybe town building mechanics? Where not only are you working towards making yourself strong but also building up your base to better support you? And even choices that affect how you develop or what kinds of waifus you get. And a class system too, of course.
I kinda wish I knew how to make games, I'd give it a shot. Pretty sure RPGmaker couldn't handle something like this, not well at least.

It could definitely do with something to spend all of your ridiculous wine profits on. Some more super-expensive levels of automation beyond just sprinklers might be an idea, too.
I think it also suffers from getting to the post-game too quickly. I honestly wouldn't mind a few more gated areas and upgrades, just so I can't spend a few weeks pushing through the mines and then have every upgrade and item I care about for the rest of the game in Summer or Fall 1. A few story events that open up new areas or dungeons with important resources in them would go a long way to making that work, so long as you don't run out of other useful things to do waiting for them to trigger.

The way to farm it is to take the elevator between 45 and 55 all day, killing dust sprites or whatever they're called. You'll find a lot in carts and satchels once you unlock the desert dungeon, too.

But, I like that I have a whole industry base for dairy, for seed refining, for clothing, for jewelry, and I like that all of those are goals I can build towards, and that as soon as I feel like I've mastered one goal, a whole new thing gets introduced.
