Yeah most guilds had like 715 and those guilds were actually good at the game and only had 2 weeks prep time and no upgrades and killed archimonde without a legendary ring, coming in any later with the same ilevel when you're not a world first level player and your guild isn't of that caliber is just unnecessarily disadvantaging your guild when it's possible to get at least 725 ilevel.

Just go apply to guilds, write a good application, clearly define your goals within WoW, point to any past gaming experience that may help you (high MMR is in MobA/rank in shooter, ect)
And do you want the secret weapon? Make a video of a boss fight (heroic archi will do). Probably any guild that isn't going for world first will accept you based off that.
Getting into a raiding guild is easy as fuck, just take the time to apply and don't be bitter/afraid of rejection... trust me you don't want to do that 'guild stepping stone' bit, it's fucking draining and will take the fun out of the game for you.
Cut the bullshit, join a good guild before WoD and stay there until the game ends/they die/you quit.

King of the Monsters is the worst achievement in the game, by far. This whole area is buggy as shit, the transform monster vehicle is weak and annoying to control, the Rare spawns are never fucking up and require the combination of being up, when you're on the quest, while you have the transform on enough of a timer to still kill it. What a load of shit.

The issue isn't the gear, we live on a small pop server and don't have the numbers. One of our guys had to drop raid and it's been a downward spiral of not finding anybody worth recruiting for months now.
they have offered server transfers, but no top percentile player wants to join a guild that is now past U.S. 200. And we are in the 300 range slowly falling back because we can't kill it without a dps.

So, open recruitment loosen requirements and target a specific type of player. You know, maybe one who's returning to the game and has previous mythic/heroic pre-wod experience... or maybe that one player who has really high DotA MMR and is looking to get into raiding for legion.
This is how new guilds start (I was a finding member of Big Dumb Guild, a late MoP start-up guild before I moved to EU)

If you're looking to heal, stay away from priest/paladin... shaman is probably the most demand-- monks are in low supply too but insanely high skill cap compared to the other healers and they don't bring as much to a raid

Honestly while I don't think 10 man "raiding" difficulty should come back because it was a meme, they should make 10 man raids or instasnces, like just their own separate thing designed specifically for 10 people. Doesn't even have to be like a full raid it can be like a more expanded and more fully developed dungeon, something to break in between 5 man content and full 20 mythic raid that's comfy and you can do with your friends, like add one in each tier alongside the raid.

i played during all expansions, buy never actually managed to do any real endgame, always ended up getting bored or tired of leveling and stopped. usually because i am an undecided faggot and before i reached max level i was leveing another class
