Though talking about Rance, I have played Eiyuu Senki Gold for a bit recently. It's...not exactly good even though it practically copied Sengoku Rance. It feels...so so. Even though it has a whole world as a battleground, Eiyuu Senki didn't give me the sense of a world being alive that SR has. It's like this world only has the MC and his harem as its sole inhabitants. And even the gameplay graphic doesn't seems to have the same impact the older SR has.
