If you do manage to remove them, you can buy a replacement back plate. They don't look too bad from the picture, mine is similar because when I first opened the back I didn't realise the screws didn't actually come out (kek) so I sat there loosening them for like an hour. Anyway point is I can still get mine out if I use the right screwdriver and press down really hard while turning. Just remove them and get a new plate.

Okay, person from last thread here. When I try to play DLC maps on FE:A I get the message:
"Could not detect an SD Card. Please download your downloadable map agains."
and also, when I try to enter the store from the gate thingy to buy maps I get this

How do i update Homebrew Launcher apps (EmuNAND9 for example)

Close the lid and reopen it, putting it to sleep fixes the 3d until you restart the 3ds, it's a thing

Is this the correct order of steps?

Whut? That's not true. You can update your emuNAND to 10.4 without any problem. You SHOULD NOT update your sysNAND to 10.4 tho, because you'll noot be able to downgrade your 3DS anymore.

I saw that thread on gbatemp where a someone irreversibly fucked their 2ds because they installed a regular 3DS firmware and it couldn't progress past the part where it tells you to turn the 3D on.

That's the "don't downgrade below 6.x" thing. 4.x system settings doesn't recognize that the 2DS exists and will ask you to turn the 3D slider up. Going to 9.2 with Old3DS files is just fine, I've done it twice.
Wait, did 10.4 actually fix downgrading? I heard it just patched the entry points, so if you just have cubic ninja or OoT and another hacked 3ds you should be safe still.
