Well guys, all in all, the 1v1 tournament went pretty well. There were some technical hiccups, but I think the viewers and participants had fun (except fred :o). Baka's ult is severely underestimated in conquest honestly. A target area that cripples is more than a death sentence for the backline if you a have poseidon or a zeus. Him and nemesis just require coordination with the team. But since every main jungler is a "special ninja don't need your help snowflake" they get put at the bottom of the assassin list.

And? The Magic equivalent of Stealth and Stun is Hand destruction and Land destruction, and to an extend, blue Control. 1.) Remove Stealth from the game entirely, reword gods that abuse Stealth accordingly.
2.) Rework Stun and other hard CC mechanics to actually be balanced, have counterplay, have multiple counters, and reward skill rather than pressing a CC button.
3.) Virtually all skills will have a telegraph, so OP garbage like Nox's AoE silence and Posei's pool will finally be balanced.
4.) Make Conquest not a boring shitstain by adding more gold/sec and continuing to improve it from there.
5.) Everyone gets a permanent 'beads' (CC-clearing) ability on a 30s recast. Tweak the recast timer from there.
All I can think of off the top of my head.
The final thing to do would be to watch profits go up as Smite increases player retention due to it being more fun to play, and rewarding skill rather than CC-spam.

The game is made for people that are fine with the use of stuns as they add a new dynamic layer to combat, in the sense that suns can turn fights, be used for ganks, or even be threatened for use to make space.
What you want is the equivalent of a game for toddlers. I'm not saying that this game is super hardcore and that I'm edgy and cool for liking it that way, what I'm saying is that we dont need more drooling sacks of shit like yourself here trying to perpetuate the idea that less types of skills or dynamic abilities is good because it will bring more people in. More people =/= better.

Stealth will already have counter-stealth built into the mechanic, since it will actually take skill to sneak up on someone, rather than pressing a button. The other person will have to be aware of their surroundings, just like real life. Hence, counterplay.

They're fine with Stun because it's been copy/pasted into every pseudo RPG-based game for the last 20 years, and it's all they've known. It never had any place in 3D gaming space in its current form, however. Again, any mechanic that allows someone to kill you with impunity while you sit there and do NOTHING is absolute shit game design and gameplay.

All of those very things can be applied to a Stun mechanic that is actually BALANCED that also allows for counterplay, with multiple counters to it.

I literally just want a balanced game with balanced game mechanics. (and a decent UI and combat engine, this has the worst I've ever seen in any MMO or MOBA).
Fixing Stealth and Stun won't reduce the complexity or skill needed in the game, it will simply make the game reward skill more than pressing a Stun/Stealth button.
