I'm gonna run FunkyCIA2 again with a newer make_cdn_cia just to see if it presents the errors I got last time. I doubt it, because I believe it was just a certificate error (don't think I dumped a ctk file) and I don't think it affects anything other than "legit" installs.

So i'm working on making a custom theme, and so far everything was going swell.
But then I imported it into Howling and the music won't play when I preview it. It's a bcstm file converted through YATA+ and it's only 1.8 MB, no different than the other themes I have that do have working music in the preview, but it's just not playing for mine.
Did I do something wrong, or is the issue on Howling's part and not mine?

It's just a matter of personal preference, actually. You could argue that after setting up emuNAND you'll never have to use sysNAND again, but I enjoy using both and messing around with multiple emuNANDs and stuff like that, so from my point of view it's better like this. If you don't mind using both, then there's no problem really, and if you do, you can just recreate your emuNAND from scratch. It really only depends on what you want.

Simply, when you'll get in emuNAND it will be like a new console, you'll go trough the set up and won't have anything installed, as it's not looking for installed games in the same folder sysNAND does anymore.

Not without updating, no. If you're on a higher FW, yes. SD card support above 2GB was added in a patch. You can hack at any FW, so it kind of doesn't matter if you update.
Older homebrew will not work with it, though, because the libraries are different and may not support SDHC cards.

Use svdt, just open it and select the game to backup and it will automatically back it up as "/svdt/gamename/datetime/*save*" then back out and do it for every game you have.

Choose the homebrew launcher from ctrbootmanager. There should be an entry for it with the default config, and it should work as long as you renamed the old boot.3dsx to boot_hb.3dsx

Honestly, any of the more popular wad managers will work. I usually just use one of the popular suggested ones (basically any starter pack will have a wad manager in it)
Your problem would be older homebrew like Super Mario War Wii and Kobo Deluxe, as well as the old version of Doom (but newer Chocolate Doom is better in every way except controller support anyway). Plus old ass media players might not support SDHC

Anyone have any good guides for injecting roms into VC games? Specifically for NES games? The handful of NES injected roms I grabbed look blurred as shit, like the aspect ratio is slightly off. You can use FunkyCIA2 to dump your titles and redownload them as .cia files from Nintendo's servers. You can dump your installed shit using Braindump, but even after running it through two different tutorials, the files will caused an error when you go to reinstall them.
