The effects of combo bonus can only really be felt when you're finally racking combos in the 300+. It's perfect for the high level songs that you can consistently FC. In theory, a team of Combo Bonus Idols is the best, but I'm not sure.
Personally, I just use a team of 3 Score Boosters and 2 Combo Boosters.

As I walked away, I overheard the husband say "What a Samurai."
