No, I don't have all that superfluous shit I'm never actually going to use. I sure as hell am not going to hone a second set of -jas when I have only ever brought more than two of a specific elemental spell type to a fight a handful of times and -gas have hit hard enough on those occasions anyway. As for spellblades, hitting damage cap on weaknesses with Planet Protector is trivial so 3* spellblades are more than enough and there are far better uses for Greater Power orbs. I have all I need to master anything where I need to bring a mage (or a party full of mages) and physical skills in general are a far better investment than wasting orbs on stuff that might possibly be kind of convenient once in a blue moon.

Pic related was what I was hoping for in this banner. I invested 150 mythril. I walked away with not a single 5-star item and only 4 gold items. Usually I find a silver lining with 3's and 4's with combination and potential use, but this lot was absolutely horrible, it didn't help my synergy at all and I sold 30 of the 33 items I drew.
From this point onward I am devoting all of my mythril to more reliable causes, trying to put 50 on a pretty good banner toward characters I like will only lead to disappointment. The one exception here is FFT. Other than that though, its all going to be SSBC banner and lucky draws from the anniversary, as well as the abyss lucky draws.
Until the anniversary event, I will cry and say fuck you jewgle every day for the mythril that has been relentlessly murdered here today.

Holy shit. I'm hella lucky this time in draws. Did two 11 mythril draws and got Lightning's SSBB, Fang's Glave, 2 Vanille's Wyrmrod, 2 keepsake daggers, 2 bladed lances. I even got Sazh's relic a while back. I think I'm good with this event. I haven't even used any of the XIII characters until now.
Now question is who is a good candidate from other series for the bladed lances? Most dragoons suck balls. Could D.Cecil use spears since he's one of the few characters I have for his second MC?
