I've been playing a ton of commando lately, as long as you're on a map that's good for commando you should be doing a ton to help the team. Just focus on getting headshots and killing trash and extending zed time.

IMO don't waste your time playing commando on really tight maps where you can't get distance from zeds. Catacombs, and farmhouse are good examples of maps where I wouldn't bother playing commando. Where as outpost, evac point, burning paris, etc are great.

Gunslinger is better imo. one headshot with .500 or two with deagles. Commando is still good though. I generally focus on siren killing when scrakes and fps come out since the team loses focus on trash and often gets swarmed by sirens.

I just feel like the only thing Commando is "good" at is trash removal but to be honest I'm really efficient at doing that with Gunslinger already. And when it's time to take down scrakes or FPs gunslinger can contribute while Commando just kind of stands at the sidelines and either spams an entire mag into them doing barely any damage or saving it up and letting the rest of the team deal with them.

shoot n scoot is preferred if you ADS a lot
quick draw is if want the 50% swap speed and like to spam through ammo without having to reload until everything is empty

woks best against FPs to build your rack 'em up counter with the 9mm, switch to the deagles, spam his head as fast as you can, then quick draw changes you to the magnums then you shoot him in the leg when he charges for the knockdown, then finish him off with the last 9 shots.

fleshpounds has a 15 second rage timer which only resets when it doesn't see a player for more than 30 seconds. unless your whole team is out of sight you don't have enough time to fucking shoot at his face and do the whole combo you pretending shitter.

Did you mean zerker? Because I constantly see zerker and gunslinger topping both the damage and kill charts -- additionally they both have better survivability than firebug and don't have the same ammo conservation issues. Firebug typically only tops the large zed kill chart or if they're solo holding down a doorway they can be up there in kills, but rarely are they leading. Firebug gets more assists than anything on most teams.

I find it pretty damn unbelievable that a firebug can hold down every single doorway in the camp spot, and not immediately run out of ammo. Firebugs being conservative as fuck typically run low on ammo only using the mwg for scrakes and fps. Honestly I'm finding your claims hard to believe both as someone who plays firebug regularly and plays with firebugs pubs often. Firebug just doesn't have the ammo to steal every kill.

Firebug can be literally untouchable between the Pushback skill, fire incaps AND microwave incaps (which are separate and can be both be abused). The only thing that can pretty much fuck you up is FPs and bosses.

Zed Shrapnel trivializes groups of trash too, and the MWG is fucking ridiculous. The Caulk is dirt cheap so you can buy one for 200 (don't even need to buy ammo with the level 5 skill) and tap that shit all day

And none of that actually makes the firebug stronger than zerker, medic or gunslinger. I don't see how firebug is "overpowered". Good, sure. OP? Not at all. Pushback is buggy as fuck and doesn't work once a zed locks onto someone for a melee attack due to snapping and is still less consistent and effective compared to a zerker blocking.

Firebug also struggles against sirens and husks.

Generally speaking by the time the zed dies to trigger the explosion all the surrounding zeds are already dead from the fire you used to kill the first. It's really not even what makes firebug strong, you can argue it's annoying for the rest of the players though.

When I'm soloing as a demo I usually wait until the big zeds come in and all trash spawn. I lure them to a door and save myself a rocket or a c4. And take down the big zed afterwords with no trash to stop me, at least until the next wave spawns.

I have no idea where the fuck you're getting that conclusion from.
Cowadoody is running around in minuscule maps with terrible spawns emphasized by the god awful fov while getting shot constantly by hitscan weapons from every direction and bullshit killstreaks with gameplay that consists on shooting the other dude first and hoping you don't die.

RO/RS is running around in large maps with way too much open terrain where you're constantly fidgeting around and getting caught in geometry because Unreal is a fucking piece of shit while getting shot constantly from the other side of the map by cunts camping with LMGs and sniper rifles with gameplay that consists of trying to sneak up on squads and shooting them in the back because the three SMG slots on your team are filled and that's the only way you're ever going to get kills with a bolt action without immediately getting shot afterwards.

If anything giving everyone jamomatics will probably improve the game.

Yoshiro just confirmed most people are going to have automatics. The only map we've seen so far seems small, and is full of trees so most combat will be close quarters.
Plus the lead developer is the guy who made Rising Storm, so it's probably going to be arcadey and generally shittier than RO2

You know, if Tripwire had handled KF2 well, I'd seriously consider buying this. Given their record though, why am I supposed to care about this. They'll probably pull the same bullshit on this game.

Also, I really think they should have focused entirely on KF2 while it is still in Early Access and still in dire need of ways to make people want to buy the game and keep them playing. But instead, they, a small company, go ahead and divide themselves into a project that's still in its infancy and another that has just been conceived. I mean, what the fuck.

Pretty sure there hasn't been anything of note since those old-ass pics of motion capture for some SMGs which many take to mean the SWAT will be using those.

I'd probably like the Martial Artist if they went for, like, the classic rogue/thief archetype for him. All about being a sneaky shit avoiding Zed attention and stabbing stuff from behind for massive damage. It would be a nice way to differentiate another melee perk from Zerk's "charge in and smite everything in the face while shrugging off damage" playstyle.

In any case, Sharp should be the priority. Waiting nearly a year (or longer) to put in one of the most iconic KF perks is very nearly criminal.

As incredibly improbable as it is, I'd rather like some KF1 style Medic weapons to reappear. SMGs with healing darts that don't autoaim but deliver their healing instantly rather than that mediocre 10hp/sec.

I'll take literally anything but SWAT as Commando Lite and another addition to the Unnecessary Trash Killer squad, though.

Fixed perk trees, for example zerk changes imo:
because they are mostly shit. Zerker should receive HP per level , 1 per level so at the 25 level it would make a bit more sense to pick Vampire perk. (fortitude would still only increase your hp up to 175)

Also Vampire perk skill should heal you per-hit on big zeds/bosses, half of the amount ( ie 2 hp-healed ) and full amount ( 4 hp healed ) for each successful parry. It could stack but heal is over-time, not instant.

For support I would change the following things:
>Bombard , the longer you shoot the zed the more damage you do to it due to armor shred with your shotgun, debuff also works for teammates so they deal more dmg
>20: Strength you can carry more and also your perk weapon bash is a bit faster and will knockdown the big zed if you hit the head
>20: tenacity: you can carry more grenades and you have cluster grenades now.
>25:covering fire: shooting zeds in zed time if they target your ally will slow them down, each successful shot restores 5% of your armor. Slow lasts for 2 seconds post-zedtime
>25:barrage: your shotgun pene is increased by additional 100% and bullets deals additional explosive dmg on top of the normal damage.

Is there any point to playing demo or support at this point?

Zerks are able to deal with fleshpounds thanks to pulvs as well as take their damage, whereas demo needs space and gets easily shredded if they get too close since even their explosives can fuck them over

Firebugs can clear crowds easier and with less effort, as well as trivializing scrakes thanks to MWG, support costs too much money and the AA12 while great, runs out of ammo way too fast and costs a fuckton whereas firebug can make mad money easy and conserve their ammo since they get a large amount for dirt cheap

I think Vampire should let you overheal yourself to an extent. If you're killing trash and taking very little damage, letting a zerk work their way up to the old 200 hp wouldn't seem very out of line.

Not only would it free Zerks from relying on Medics a bit, it would also allow Medics to free up some attention from the Zerk - so long as he's over his normal max health, they can't really help him with healing so they might as well pay more attention to the other players.

Give demo's On Perk skill the damage bonus too, as well as buff the Off Perk to 30% as well, because there's just no reason to not go On Perk, even at the start of a game since 10% is nothing.
Considering you get a pair of them when they arrive, it will save you a lot of ammo and having to walk backwards through half the map just to slowly kill one

Support idk, give AA12 and ammo in general a lower price again, let AA12 give you 5 drums naturally instead of 4, so when you pick Ammo you don't have an awkward drum with 16 shots putting you to 96 shots, instead you get a well rounded set of 120 shells so there's at least more reliable power at the end.
Support has a lot of room for improvement at this point, i'm looking at the 20+ skills in particular.

Off Perk is the goofiest goddamn skill at the moment because it encourages you to use weapons that won't get you any Demo Exp, at the cost of things that make the Demo a goddamn Demo (Scrake knockdowns and FP stuns being the only cool toys a Demo gets other than Nuke, in my opinion).

It's well-intentioned, and lord knows I love using off perk weapons to good effect, but jesus. What were they thinking?
