I really hate CK2, not for what it is but for what it is not, or rather what it could've been.
When I start it up, I expect a cool medieval game that combines grand strategy with dynasty management. What I get is a steaming pile of fucking nothing.
Seriously, in most of my games fucking nothing happens. The Holy Roman Empire takes Flanders, and then France and the HRE sit there doing fucking nothing. Byzantium never falls, the Seljuks blob all over the fucking place, very little actually changes. Very little actually happens. Even if I'm a great ruler like the king of France, I spend most of the game doing fucking nothing other than plotting marriages.

How can I take down the british? I can get around 60 brigades to their 300, but they can only attack me from the north and the coast.

Is this worth it? I've had 3 nation wide rebellions already and all of them were back when I was behind 4.5 militancy. However, the pop promotion cap to slavery nations is fucking me up a lot, the region in pic related has loads of accepted pops but only grew about 10% adm efficiency over the last 4 years encouraging bureaucrats, and it was quite hard to get intellectuals in the only 2 regions I have 100% adm efficiency in - around 12 years to grow them from 1.2% and 2.1% to 2.6% for both of them. Plus, the other option barely grants me 300 RPs.
