That sounds like a stunt they tried to pull on a friend of mine? Provided you are only having them pay for the number of years worth of course you originally applied for, they can't actually do that. If you applied for student loans for a three year course and swap from the second year of one to the second year of another, that's between you and the institution and the SLC has no real say.
They attempted discontinuing funding for someone else I knew because they had to move from full time to part time due to health concerns on the grounds that they were "starting a new course". It took some yelling but they backed down, because after pointing out that it was still just a singular degree and it wouldn't be getting any more money out of them they didn't really have a leg to stand on.

Well he did make a good point though, usually with GhostQuest I post a reminder and links to the archive every day building up to it, but because of work and my piss poor sleep schedule, it is true, there was very little warning. The only reminder the session was tomorrow was on Wednesday, while it was a dick move to build tension, it was still a dick move and could definitely mean a lot of people missing out.

And that's why I don't do this professionally. I go by whims. Has anyone here actually finished anything either in the past year? Has a single fangame been completely finished? MNOP was finished way before Gimf came into the threads. What about stories? Burlesque Saloon, New Management, anything that isn't a oneshot, I can't recall a single one having an actual 'The End' to them unless my memory is shot.
Comics? I mean, there's Nameless' suiting comic, that was finished, but everything is still ongoing to this very day, to Weaver to Rugrats to Benis and more each universe is still ongoing. Cartoons? Britfag is working hard and I love that he's taking time but that's also not finished. Quests? BB's quest never saw an ending either, nor Repair's. I'm not calling people out to shit on them, I'd imagine the reason for this isn't laziness so much as the artists here are here for fun and don't create with endings in mind.
I know my limits, I'm well aware most projects I start won't end, but when I do have updates and sessions, people seem to have fun, and that's what I go here for. I'll openly admit I'm terrible at finishing things, just ask /vp/.
That said, I do seriously feel GQ's finale would do better on the 16th, I was very abrupt and dickish for throwing it out of nowhere on Wednesday. Buy 1 and 4. Those are both the scariest by far and 4 does some fantastic shit by building the entire structure of gameplay 99% on sound alone.
If you like the gameplay of FNAF1, get FNAF3, it's not scary, but really amps up the camera focus and emphasis on quick micromanaging. Alternatively if you like FNAF1 but don't want to spend money, there is a fan game called Five Nights at Candy's that is arguably better than most of the actual FNAF games.
FNAF 2 is up to you at that point if you want to go ahead and own the whole quadrilogy. I enjoyed it for the replay challenges but it's a cluttered mess of mechanics that by and large are useless and don't work since there is ultimately only one strategy that works on harder difficulties that makes the whole game more tedious than scary or atmospheric.

I've been lurking here since September, and I find myself wanting to contribute something to the general. I am a programmer by profession, so the obvious choice would be to make a game. Unfortunately, I lack the motivation or ability to do any kind of art, and even the creativity to come up with an interesting concept. My best option seems to be to find someone to work with. Would anyone want to try to collaborate on something? I know this is a bit of a strange request since I don't have an established identity here.

The screenshots were taken in Unity 3D, where the "game" is really only implemented as far as walking around. I also developed a clone of the first FNaF (using its images and mechanics) in straight C++. I'd post that, but I'm pretty sure there'd be copyright issues with that. I haven't used ClickTeam, RPG Maker, or any of the tools typically mentioned here, though I can't imagine they'd be too difficult to learn.

I should also mention that the FNaF clone didn't have any menus or anything like that. It was just an experiment, I didn't plan on trying to dupe anyone with it or anything like that. It had some minor changes, too (looking panned as the mouse moved from left to right and light buttons were on only as long as they were clicked).
