I used to play on minecraft-seeds.net server and it was a great, semi-quiet underbuilt server. Can't see it anymore an I'm not sure if banned or it's gone. I haven't played for years.

I'm looking for somewhere to play vanilla with my younger brother who is just getting into MC on PC and I want to have a decent experience (e.g. being able to buy armor instead of mining everything) part of it is easing him into survival so most servers where you get REKT as soon as you step out of the protected area aren't going to work.

So... thoughts?

when I first played this game it was early 2011 or something, hiding out in the engineering computer labs with my best friend between midnight and 4AM when no one was around

back then I played on hardcore, the game had a way of making me piss myself because of the haunting music and shitty lightning

like hours of digging a dark hole, surrounded by moans and chirps of hidden things, when suddenly you tumble and fall into a black pit, to be eaten alive by something unholy.

Now when I play this game it's too easy to prevent all that with torches and beds and nonsense, the artstyle's boring

Update on the Namkobian front: City is almost repaired now with only the docks remaining to be rebuilt; once those are complete, the rest of the fleet can be imported over and then it's off to sailing distant waters in order to see this ChromatiCraft ruckus is all about!

I tried for a Witch hut theme, and it's square because the entire inside is a chunk.

Everything else just kind of seems out of place, and I'm actually considering making either a new world (Homebrew pack of my design) or moving everything to a void world. Lag is becoming an issue, and it's more or less because Minecraft is "Assigned" 4 gigs and is taking loosely 6-8.

At the moment, aesthetics. I had this plan for a grand smeltery, but when it occured to me that:
1) You get more per ore from an EnderIO Sag Mill loaded with Dark Steel balls
2) You can smelt 10 stacks of ore on a single bucket
3) Smelters are slow unless you have mass-production systems

Which is one of the reasons why I'm actually considering shucking it down into a Bedrockium Drum (which, suprisingly, that tank is only a fifth of said drum) and using it for more realistic purposes of Liquid XP. I still need to work on revamping and properly building my hyperspawner system; I used to use MFR Grinders, which were slow and produced essence as a byproduct, but I'm planning on using Diamond Spikes enchanted with Looting, Reaper, and XP Boost.

Apparently someone else in these threads said that Brews are a good thing to look into. Doing things that Vanilla/Botania potions can't do, like fertilizing an entire area of crops/grass to make absurd amounts of flowers and seeds. Might be worth looking into.

It might, but I know that Rowan and the witchery trees boost more than other trees. I don't think it's directly based on the amount of things, but rather the variety of things. I know the things you put on top of the altar boost once and you can't stack them (So no 6 dragon eggs on an altar for max power) but the stuff around...I'm not sure if it's Quantity or Diversity that counts.

If they haven't changed it, it should still work with a couple strikes will increase the work and some will decrease, you've got to figure out the correct combination of strikes to properly work the ingot. Too many and you ruin it, not enough and well you run out of time. Say you need to work it into a value of 5 but you can only add 4 or take away three. You would have to hit it to add 4, then hit it again to remove 3 then hit it to add 4 again for the sweatspot of 5, but say if you were to hit 6 it would break.

Hey guys, so I've got this modpack (It's the magitech serb pack and I added Millenaire) and I get this horrible freeze whenever I open any GUI (it freezes for about 10 seconds). What the fuck can I do to solve this issue? MultiMC also crashed on me while playing (happened twice) and I had minecraft crash once.

For example she's interested in the farming aspect quite a lot, keeping animals etc.

I was throwing eggs at her and we got a little baby chicken in our house, she wants to name it and keep it as a baby forever which I ended up doing with commands. But we'd rather all this crap be integrated into the game in as smooth a way as possible so she'll understand it all and it won't feel split from the main content.

Yes, good. Now all that's left is:

and Tinker's will finally be somewhat balanced. Jury's out on how to fix crossbows other than removing them outright, but this fixes all the basic tools and melee weapons, at least.

Maybe I'll make my own Tinker's Overhaul mod someday.

I just don't want TiCon to invalidate every other tool in your pack is all. I really do love the mod at its core, but making things more expensive would make it a little easier to employ some self-control and expand your horizons a little. Tinker's would still win in customizability, but maybe say you make yourself a Tinker's pickaxe for the easy Silk Touch or Fortune and then use an enchanted, modded sword to potentially outdamage one with a single layer of quartz.

Nowhere did I say I'd like this integrated into the core TiCon. Some people like OP tools, and it certainly was a lot of fun for me the first time I did it. But I'd like an addon mod to bring it back down to earth a bit in a way that IguanaTweaks can't really provide at this point in time.

Tons of Lapis for Fortune is balanced enough. Would have wanted Cleaver's natural beheading removed so that the obsidian+ender pearl upgrade can be used instead though.

the only way to prevent this is to just not have ticon in there. ticon is compatible with other stuff, but ultimately it's not meant to exist with other stuff that has tools/weapons simply because it's the all in one godtool mod. 's not even a question of balance, it's just plain better at everything than 99% of mods that add stuff due to how it works.

You can build a gateway in any dim TO the pocket plane, and it will create a portal on the inner wall, but if you go back through that portal, it will just drop you somewhere in the overworld.
