i know in halo 3, ranked had a system that essentially locked you in a certain ranking. if you kept on going back and forth between winning and losing eventually it became harder to get to the next rank, even if you eventually won a whole bunch of matches in a row.

Just got the game, and I'm a pretty decent Junkrat. Strangely enough teams always complain that we don't have a sniper, so I end up doing well as widowmaker too.
But I can't seem to find a good team, or good games. They're just full of autistic genjis and reapers.

Zarya, kind of? I mean, your entire team is still cc'd hard, which means all the 200hp characters caught in it are likely to die unless you have rein shield.
Pharah, not really sure. My experience has been bad but I haven't done it enough to counter her ult specifically.

Pharah by herself is fine but Pharah Mercy is too strong of a synergy.
Many of the balance problems come from lack of variety and counters though. For example, Winston is a bit of a problem because only Reaper reliably stops him. Lucio and Mercy are the only two legit healers, so they become obligatory picks. Reinhardt by himself is probably fine, but he's the only real pushing tank in the game, so you have him every game.
We need more variety.

I queued with a full group and we went 4 wins 6 losses. When all was done the majority of my party got mid 40's. I came out with a 46 and solo queued my way to a 51. There are people out there who take the game very seriously. And they are some of the worst people players around. If you aren't having fun then you probably should find a better way to spend your time.

Every time I've played with someone who actually used his mic and tried to lead the team, we won. It felt like we worked better.

Works incredibly well for sneaky shits coming up behind your team, calling out turrets, Bastions, and snipers.
Callouts make up about 20% of your 100% chance to win. If you don't use callouts, you've basically only got an 80% chance to win in any and every match
I need some Reaper help. What's the best way to get past a locked down Hanamura A gate as attackers? Can I actually do it on my own?

Considering that you're super vulnerable while teleporting, I feel like that approach would just get me killed instantly most of the time. Especially if the enemy team has a widow.

The approach I haven't really tried out yet since the damn teleport placement doesn't want to go where I want to put it. Not sure if there's any way to do it without being very obvious about it, either.
The reason I'm asking is partially because some guy acted as if teleport made me completely invulnerable for the full duration during my placement matches and called me worthless. Plus we never got past the gate that game.
