The runs have been good, the commentary has been there, no major drama/cringe moments, very few technical issues, Twitch chat is its usual cancer, IRC chat is running smoothly (shoutouts to Efreeti and the mods), everything has gone well and been entertaining. Definitely the best since I've started watching at AGDQ '13.

the runs have been average, and this isn't an average event, this is supposed to be the best runs, and it's not. there have been a few good runs.
Most of the commentary has sucked too. A few games had good commentary but there was way too much quiet awkwardness where nobody was talking for stretches of 10 minutes of more and the donation reader was just rambling on about dead dogs and how a kid's mom died when she was 3 month's pregnant and other stupid shit.

There are plenty of "glitchless" speedruns that do just that.
That's why there are different categories of runs, and they are all there to satisfy different interests. Some people want to see how quickly you can simply make it to the end. Some want to see how quickly you can run through the game as if you were playing normally. Some want to see how quickly you can complete it 100%. Some want to see how fast you could complete it if you had inhuman skills and could perfectly execute every move. That's just how it goes
