I made a, seemingly better, starter pack.
It should have everything required point-to-point to get up and running from scratch (pre-downgrade) to rxTools (excluding the firmware files). I also took the liberty of rewriting the firmware .bat file to be more streamlined.
I wrote a pretty thorough readme for the entire process, but some wording is either vague or nonexistent so fleshing out those would be nice. For instance, I could drop the hint at rxTools 2.6 since this pack provides 3.0.
Also, it works during any part of the process so if you just downgraded and don't know what to do next you could follow along perfectly by starting to set up rxTools.

4GB is enough to get started. Take my previous point about emunand's space requirements and then consider to install a CIA you need double the space. After setting up emunand on O3DS you'd have around ~3GB space (total) so you could effectively install games up to 1.5GB. Unless you want to install over network which is slow as shit.

Julian version is pretty much brick proof since it downgrades safe mode first, then "actual" cias. So if downgrading fails at beginning -> 3ds still works normally
or downgrading fails later on -> safe mode works normally.

Is it possible to get HB Loader to launch a .3dsx other than boot? I did the CFW from coldboot guide and now trying to get into the HBL results in what I'm pretty sure is a loop of trying to launch and failing. This could probably be solved by getting HB Loader to point to another 3dsx but I can't figure out how to get it to do that.
