As far as I know, a Dreadnaught pilot is going to have some good skills that can carry over to Subcaps. Even then, I have a decent (Read; 20M SP) character that I can play on when not doing stuff on my cap.

Is there anything new to do in this game? I played like 4 years ago, but all I enjoyed was scanning random stuff. The missions were too boring for me to bother grinding and making enough money to buy a plex or whatever and I'm not into PVP or being bossed around by internet nerds. I ran out of MMOs to play though.
Does this game have anything cool to do added in since then? How long does it take to get started nowadays? I think I had gotten up to being able to fly battleships or battle cruisers or whatever, but my account has surely been cleared by now.
Also does this game have anything like field bosses? Like some random powerful ship will pop in somewhere and people can kill it for a chance at goodies? I didn't play it long enough to know if there was anything like that.

when you click 'buy item' on an item type, it brings up the window for placing buy orders. if you just want to buy from a sell order, i.e. the normal way to buy something, you want the 'expiry' to be set to immediate. the way to just convniently buy things is to right click the item type and click 'view market details', rather than using the 'buy item' thing

I can't even remember what the last hilarious drama was. their attempts to 'fuck lowsec to death' have been pitiful. they're taking a few moons from about 1 group in lowsec, while being about even for fights, despite having like 5x the numbers on field. I'm not sure how long they'll keep this up until they decide to go back to ratting in deklein and lose all those moons (which none of the lowsec people actually need, they primarily just hold them for fights).

this is what i was playing with on serp rats. i was partially using this to get familiar with keeping a large orbit on something manually, because you want to stay out of the rats' effective range. with serps i could use the TP in cargo instead of the fitted SD; with other rats you should experiment and think critically. remember, you're only bothering with battleships.
uh
this whole concept isn't a *good* idea from any kind of minmaxing perspective, but i found it kind of fun anyway.
