For MCC, it's just the old event stuff that you wouldn't be able to get in the JP version anyway. The English version mirrors the Japanese version, just a few weeks behind.
With regards to features however, there's a bunch of random things the Japanese version has that the English version doesn't, but for the most part they're minor.
From what I understand of the others though, they've been picking events at random, so it might be possible to get things from before the start of the English version.

I really try to like it and get into it, but getting nice accessories through event rankings is way too difficult as a free player, even just getting to the lowest tier.
