I just had a terrible, wonderful idea:
A fangame borrowing the mix of shenanigans and roleplay of Space Station 13 (but maybe on persistent servers?).
You could play as a human child or as various kinds of monster (skeleton, boss goat, dog, ghost maybe?). Humans respawn, monsters have permadeath.
Combat is basically Undertale combat (you initiate it by running up to somebody in the overworld and hitting a button), except two players are throwing bullet hell stuff at eachother. The "Act" equivalent is just saying stuff in chat, and both players must hit the "Spare" button to end the battle. However, it's some prisoner's dilemma thing - if you hit "spare" and the other guy attacks you, you get crit'd just like you're Toriel or some shit.
also players would have to be able to do science and inject various people and things with determination, and this should be able to go hilariously wrong.
