I used the last torrent link on the reloaded page, so it shouldn't be shitty. I'm trying the one DDL link on reloaded that hasn't been taken down, but it looks dodgy as all fuck.
Problem is all other .iso files mount ok, it's just this one file, and a torrent recheck didn't solve problems. I'll look into unpacking it now.

I think I got it to work now, unpacked everything and installed it to desktop so the only thing left is to manually paste it into the game folder. I'm a little hesitant because it refusing to mount in the first place might mean that the files inside are corrupted or something. What are the chances of this being the case? I know I could always back it up somewhere but I'm an idiot and I want to minimise the risk of myself fucking up the game.

Remove all your mods to a separate folder, and see if the problem stops. If it does, then add the mods back in groups and test to see if the culprit is in each of the groups. Once you've identified the group, narrow it down from there until you identify precisely which is the one responsible.
Remember to make a hard save beforehand so it won't break your CC save.

I don't like that my guy will just default towards being fit as fuck. I'd like it if I didn't workout for awhile I'd lose my muscle, or gain fat, etc.

I don't know about losing muscle, but Sims do gain fat over time even if they aren't overeating. This was much worse on the release because changes were too quick, I believe they have toned it down since. I know there are mods that do the opposite of what you want.

Did this. Tried restarting first, still couldnt sit. Removed all mods, worked fine. Moved them all back, same problem again.
Then i started moving back only the half of the remaining crap to see how much i can stuff in without bugging out.
In the end, all went back and the game worked without any issues.
Doesnt make any fucking sense but i dont even care, it just works.

They will get "triggered" by anything at all, then the more you [or EA in thins case] talks about it, apologizes, admits any wrongdoing, in any way admits that they did something "wrong" or "trigger" them again, they will get more pissed.
The only way to win the SJW game is to not play it. They are real master-trolls. The old kind, not this new "huehueumad" kind. They feed on attention, if you respond to them they will get braver and go harder. If you ignore them they will go away.

It was on sale, just got Origin for the three Dragon Age games (Origins Ultimate for $8, got Inquisition retail for $15 and DA2 was like $10 or $12) and got that Sims itch again, plus it was on sale for $35 so it wasn't that much.
