I haven't really been following these threads since the release of Koichoco, but what was the general consensus on Mifuyu's route?
I thought she that she might have the potential to make for a cute route, but holy shit was that route godawful.
Where was her personality? They gave her no discernable traits whatsoever. There was no chemistry at all between her and the MC.
Just random "Oh I love you so much" without any reasoning at all behind it.
And the entire route was 90% bullshit drama with everyone being fucking angry at each other for no reason. Like how the hell did they think that would be enjoyable?
Did anyone else feel this way? I actually liked the Chisato and Satsuki routes, but this was easily in the top 5 shittiest VN routes I've ever read.

Seem like you've got a serious case of shit taste. Mifuyu is easily top tier, probably my second favorite. The whole angst was hard to stomach but it had a satisfying conclusion. The sex scenes were actually nicely inserted for the story and Mifuyu guilt was more than enough reason for motivating her actions.
She was cute as fuck in those sex scenes mang, and that kiss after the earthquake. The only real forced part was the SUDDEN ILLNESS but at least that led to the diary scene which pretty much explain why she was so angsty over betraying Chisato.
So no the route isn't shit, the worst part of Koichoco is easily chisato and Satsuki route.

Mifuyu has this ''girl next door'' aura mixed with a little bit of nee-san, tough that change quickly once the romance start and she's just not really able to contain her guilt despite having a crush on the mc for years. Her route needed more cutesy stuff for sure, but it's at least much better than the dry garbage that was Satsuki and forced bullshit with Chisato.
Hell the drama in Mifuyu isn't really any worse than the poorfag girl. I saw more than enough of Mifuyu personality in all that drama, mostly how little she value herself by pushing the mc away constantly.
She's a fine heroine. As for the sex scene, the first one felt forced while the other two at least ahd some good tempo for the story.

Dude I just read the route. She really was gone for around half the scenes. There was more time spent in monologues and talking with chisato than with her.
And there were no "falling in love" scenes with any sort of cute builld-up to their relationship. It was just awkwardness-->kiss-->insta sex.
And neither was there any dates or fun drama free scenes. Everything had some sort of tension or flat out agony to it.
Just not very fitting in a charage/moege game, where you expect the fun SOL stuff to overshadow drama.

I don't see why a route shouldn't have a heavy chunk of drama even if its a moege. Michiru is the best route in the game and isn't really cutesy once you reach the drama point after the date.
