Whatever you say, since you're going to eventually make a Truffle house, why not expand the Witch Doctor's house underground to make it bigger (not as big as your pyramid though) and them make a "truffle pyramid" which is underground and smaller/fucked up, with mushrooms escaping from it? This way you can have three pyramids

I don't know the exact number of attempts, but it's much higher than I anticipated. Probably somewhere between 20 and 30. Terraria kept crashing and that didn't help.

Both entrances are sealable and trapped to stop any mobs. Likewise the bottom of the house has an air moat, which I placed there many versions ago to stop floating enemies like wraiths when I first got to hardmode. How is it not functional?

It wouldn't easy to use in combat in most situations since it takes time to switch to it, move on the screen, and switch back to a weapon.
It would be great for exploring, but by the time you get it you've probably already explored most of the map.
