It makes more sense. It also improves the pendulum aspect of the deck, which is still lacking a little if you ask me. The deck can't even main Wavering eyes, for Christ's sake.
If we go on the fact that there are already 4 pendulum and 4 non-pendulum deskbots (+1 irrelevant extra deck one), the odds of it being a pendulum seem 50/50.
But really, why make a high level deskbot you can't pendulum summon? One of reasons why 001 through 004 aren't pendulums is because you can normal summon them without tributes. Can't do that with 009. Unless they make an easy way to special summon itself from the hand - which, again, seems dumb because it's a half pendulum deck - it's going to be a pendulum card.

Today I was trying out 1v2 and won against double Fluffals because I just did the sensible thing and used Felgrand Knight on Tiger right when it tried to nuke, which also made Tiger unusable for fusions, and they wasted so many resources on their engine that the only other fusion they could shit out was Wolf.

Everyone already knows how terrible it is. It's obvious to everyone that the only reason Konami changes our rarities is for money and nothing else. The only ones who don't realize that are the 10 year old anime fans who still waste their money on packs and hope to get something good, which is exactly the market Konami wants.
