IMC Games have shown an interest in an international release, and has begun testing the game in various other languages, including English and Japanese, even whilst the Korean version is still in testing. The game is currently in the beta phase, with the Korean Open Beta beginning soon.

I actually went for a weird build for the last open beta.
ArcherC2>Sapper1>Scout1>RogueC2
The idea was to get as many 1 point wonders that deals with many situations like a jack of all trades with some proficiency in stealth/survivability and Rogue C2 allows the dps to not fall off too much via karcha set backstabs.
Archer C2 allows for the baseline DPS needed to actually level.
Sapper provides the surprise explosions of the tile sets from enemies via detonate traps.
The mob of flying enemies anti-mob claymore.
The anti-ground mobbing tool stock stockades partnered with heavy shot from archer to stake the stragglers that refuse to get grinded between 2 stockades.
The scout for good single target sustain on bosses via flare and ofcourse the massive survivability it gives.

Jobs are classes in TOS. Including rebirth(or was it called revival?) classes, TOS has a lot, tons of varying class builds with more coming in the near future.
Terms of combat, TOS is like rangarok plus jumping.
Mechanics like cards in RO? Cards system in RO is basically alche awakening, monster gems, regular gems combined. What RO lacks and TOS has is magnum opus(class skill) which you can get mats/weapons/etc. There are also pets, summon mobs(treebranch) among other things.
RO is essentially your ultimate sandbox oldschool mmorpg. TOS is still trying to figure itself out.

I think IMC is purposefully ignoring that people can fall in love in this game. Mechanics and features must be built around that. For example when the server detects someone confessing, big fireworks should be going off.
Also, I have seen no mention of any mixed bathing hot springs implementation for the guild halls where you have to wear nothing but a towel. Very disappointing.
