But Loranon has a very, very annoying flaw: he always deflects the responsibility for his actions onto other people. Never takes responsibility for anything, always blames other people for his own behavior, never takes the effort to meet people halfway and instead expects them to do all the work, never even tries to understand where someone is coming from or even understand what they're trying to say, and when the inevitable miscommunication happens always blames the other person for being "too stupid to grasp the concept". All in all, Loranon is a person who *could* be smart, but goes through far to much effort to isolate himself from other people, and as such his intelligence is hampered by a severe lack of experience. Everything he says and does reeks of naivete and unpolished opinions on the world around him. And, of course, without the ability to really understand other people, he defaults to selfishness without realizing it. It's kind of gross, actually.

First playthrough, doing a STR/ARC build, just recently found the Tonitrus. It's the perfect weapon for me, with perfect scaling... But it feels too strong. Like, the game just became 10 times easier the moment I started using it.

Actually that's a bit of a mistranslation. The powder kegs are heretical in how their methods deviate from the traditional ones of the workshop, not because they're religiously heretical towards the church. A better translation would be 'deviants' because the original doesn't have a religious connotation. That line is basically just calling attention to the fact that the kegs were radically different in their approach to weapon-making than the original or church workshops.
