What killed /asg/ and will eventually kill /blaz/ is that some of you fags will shit on the other game, and try your hardest to shitpost about why one or the other is bad. What happens when you do bad rivalry like that, on games that are supposed to share the similar fabases at that, is that you create a general about shitting on an oposing franchize.
If you really wanted for /asg/ is to get better is to just talk calmly about both games and enjoy them both, like you actually do, because both are amazing fighting games.

Me neither. I'd play more honestly but right now I'm on finals, gonna tackle on you guys on saturday, tough, when I get a gap between my exams. But if I had to guess it's because Blazblue is very loaded on the story, and talking about it quickly becomes the high point of the conversations (since when you play you can't post on 4chan). Guilty Gear is also loaded with interesting Lore. Eventually people will just want to stop talking about the game and will start seeing that booting up the game and remembering how bad they are can be a hassle.

In the Skype group, it's mostly N.A. and Europe. You'll need to check the Steam group. I remember at least one person was from Brazil and another from Argentina. Can't remember who. Though the people I play regularly in Europe have a 1-2 connection. I haven't had any netplay problems with people here amazingly.

I would love to join this steam and skype group. I'm actually surprised to hear that there is one. I use to host streams a lot back when /asg/ was still good, and I really do miss that sense of community and friendship that I got back then. I'm happy to see it had started to return back on /v/ a while back and might be growing again now.

No, but I do find it interesting how often people get hit by him. His mixup maybe be arguably weaker than even Ragna's.
Though I guess the immanent danger of his bigass Bloodedge attacks along with its guard breaking attribute makes people somewhat wary of approaching him or attacking him from too far away. Then he can use this uncertainty to rush in and get close. I kinda like that about him, he's like Hakumen with his large ass hitboxes but can actualy run in and get close. He's nothing outstanding in the gimmick department, but he seems like he'd be fun to play as.

Part of my issue is it's less available to people. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people pick up BB in an active thread after people convinced them it was a good game. There was something nice about helping casual players that look out for fighting game general. A lot of those people ended up staying and really got into the game.

I don't disagree, I'm just saying most people already have skype. Someone asked for a skype group many months ago because they didn't have steam so I made one. Most of us using skype right now don't mind it enough to migrate, though I'd be up for trying whatever if another little group gets going on whatever program.
Say we did have a discord or irc that the whole group and /vg/ was in, it's nice to have a tighter group alongside the general one. It's not even a secret club or anything, just nice having a chill group instead of one where anyone can drop in. Of course, everyone is free to join but it's not entirely "open".
I don't know much about discord but as I said, I'm willing to try anything to connect with more BB anons.

She has near full screen normals and stuff but I don't think it's that bad because most characters in BB has enough movement options to navigate around it compared to UNI; though apparently some of her ranged "magic" normals have physical properties so Hakumen can't cut it or maybe even Tager can't sledge through them? Lurking on the jbbs it seems people are still trying to figure out how to utilize her offense properly since the way her spells works makes it hard to freestyle her pressure and mix ups if you want to go into certain spell combinations. She seems to have good mix up and neutral options in general but I don't think anyone has any input worth a damn on her until we see her being played out more. The fact that we don't see any blatant unblockables like vanilla Kokonoe gives me a favorable impression of her for now.

I love the way Nightmare Edge looks, but it looks like Ragna's combos are going to be the easiest they've been for a while from what I've seen in a lot of match videos. I like the ease of access, but I hope some more complicated stuff appears soon, cause I do like being able to challah get myself sometimes combo wise.

People we bitching about all the meta talk but we need it this early to grind out what we should do for the best for the community on this site, which I'm pretty passionate about. People on /v/ were bitching we go to /vg/, now most want to stay on /v/. I'm sure people will bitch about have a /v/ and a /vg/ thread but they can fuck off. We can use the general for news on coordination, FGC events, stuff like that and us /v/ for general lobby discussion, waifu and story posting and generally what we do there.
