It's actually a pretty well made game. The open world is pretty well done and the weapon mods feel fun to use and don't feel gimmicky and useless. The leveling tree system was also pretty good and really made me want to grind out the levels to get those extra talent points. Most importantly the combat felt good and really made you feel the pressure if you got surrounded by a horde. It's also decently atmospheric, the constant screaming and howling and moaning in the city really started to get to me sometimes late at night
My complaints would be the relatively pervasive bugs with the quests and how eventually the combat felt a little too easy. I really felt like they should have put in a hard mode, the scaling leveling was good, but when you get maxed out weapons and high tier mods it feels a bit too easy, though that could just be the nature of fighting mindless zombies, I'm not really sure what they could have done to make it more challenging.
All in all I'd give it an 8/10 because the story is a little predictable and some of the cut scenes were really fucking rushed and detracted from the feel of the story. Hoping Dead Island 2 will be better.

To be honest, I think I've been doing well in team builder, last game I got lucky and some mong picked rammus top and fed me a 3 course meal and I could easily 1v3 by midgame. My last match was a bit more difficult, mirror matchup top lane and the Enemy laoi was ahead early game, with a few Yi ganks and her building damage against my tankiness, I managed to pull back ahead and even pull a quadra before ending the game. My games have ended pretty early but after that I was building IE/LDR/merc but late game itemization is weird now. I think the most solid is probably going to be giant slayer into IE. Rumble is not world renowned for his outstanding AP scaling, he has extremely high base damage and absolutely absurd synergy with the rhylais/liandry combo. There is absolutely no fucking reason for him to have gotten that deathcap before getting a rhylais, a guardian angle would have made for a better 6th item in this situation anyway. When you are a Vessel. Cleanse can remove the Slow debuff, but no the vessel stat, so you will still spam tentacles for 1 minute or till you kill 3 tentacles

If you are as Vessel and you get hit by Illaoi E again and either you spirit dies or you run away, the Remaining time nor the Tentacles kill count will restart

silver bolts max mean your damage is almost exclusively the minimum it can deal (this is 40/60/80 for the first 3 levels)
so it comes out to an on-hit of 13/20/26 true damage per hit, if you think this can hold up in trades against champions like Quinn with back to back passive procs + her insane Q AD ratio, MFs passive + double ups, Lucian e passive q passive trades or Kalistas that are smart about her E and reset it by hitting a creep while still getting damage on you + W procs you just don't know jack shit about botlane

Actual Trundle main here. I don't think Trundle is OP even now. It's clearly the masteries pushing him over the top. Also, sustain in general is pretty crazy right now and he's got some of the best sustain in the game.
Seeing all these people building Trundle full damage really triggers my autism. I even saw someone build rageblade on him one game. No CDR, no defense. Just full fucking damage. I really fail to see how people are losing to that.

My builds are mostly situational, but items that I tend to build nearly every game are...
Tiamat --> Situational upgrade
Spirit Visage --->Always get this 2nd or 3rd (this item is his precious)
Sheen (I prefer IBG most of the time, but Trinity is nice if the opponent has a strong kiting/anti-engage comp)
Botrk is really good on him, but don't rush it unless you are stomping. You need defense so you don't get Q'd and instagibbed by that 4/0 Lux with Morello's.
He scales the best with CDR and sustain items. Always try to reach the cap as early as you can. It helps eliminate a lot of his issues with being kited. Plus, it final rank pillar with capped CDR has a 5-6 second cooldown and his ult is a mere 30 seconds. Champs like Karma and Ahri will fuck you no matter what you do though. Mobile mages are his kryptonite.

Why are people still so fixated on ranks in this game? I've played since Season 2 and Season 3 was the last time I tried to ladder, though not much by comparison, I played something between 150 and 200 games and got Plat 1. By now ranks have become even more free and with every season Riot adds a new rank above the highest one. Not to mention that the whole system is completely flawed and that ranked is considerably less fun because the people get buttblasted as fuck if they lose.
