So i was dinking around with some culture colors in the new HPM to fix some complaints other people and I have had, what do you all think?
first, i changed Greek back to its old color, and put its new color in the place of Kashmiri, which looked wildly out of place
new Hazara looked like African Minor, so I switched old Hazara with Pashtun so Pashtun and Turkmen didn't look too close anymore
I switched Tarascan and Dagestani to prevent Dagestani from looking like Armenian, and now I think it has a nice similarity to Circassian
finally I changed Kru and Chechen to prevent Kru from looking like Mande and Chechen from looking like Russian

Is the cinchona jungle resource display borked in TFH or does it really make jungle effects worse ("jungle effects +15%" in red lettering)? It would make sense for it to reduce jungle effects as it's a source of quinine and whatnot but I don't know whether the display is wrong or if they accidentally flipped a negative in the files.

If you really just want that dirty satisfaction of getting what you want, try out Russia. You can beat up Prussia early on and stop your only potential challenge from getting off the ground. After they're taken care of, do everything to get in the way of England. You'll always be able to beat them on land, but it'll be a while before the Czar's flag (or the Hammer and Sickle) fly over London.

Is there a list of specifics for Estates bonuses?
Seems like non euros have basically Clergy and nobility by other names, but the bonuses aren't always the same.
Thought it was tied to influence but that doesn't seem right.
Merchant Guilds(Burghers) have 15% Trade Efficiency at 40 influence as Vijyanjagar, but I think it was at like 5-10% with some other nations.
Increasing does raise the value though.
I know hardly anyone plays EU3 anymore, but I deeply love this game, and am in the long tedious process of making a pseudo-map-mod to create a (hopefully) balanced world. No terra incognita from day 0, every nation is 4 provinces with a relatively centralized capital province. Also, remapping cultures and trade goods.

I have spreadsheets for fictitious nation names, ethnic groups, religions, etc. Basically completely ahistorical/pseudo-fantasy with EU3 mechanics and default province layout. I already have a lot of replacement .txt files for each new nation with slider positions set and such. Yes, putting an estate makes it a minimum of 50.
But if you are blobbing hard you're getting provinces at 50 autonomy to start with anyway, and probably raising autonomy on a lot of them so they are 75. 50 min doesn't hurt since you'd need to stay at peace for decades to get the autonomy low enough. Good thing too is that the tribal disaster isn't too bad compared to the others, all you need to do is pillage harder.
