Welp, I'm tired of the multiplayer, and I've done everything possible in the single player. Guess I'm done with V.
What a dissapointment of a game. I thought it would be Peace Walker done right, but while it fixed the gameplay, everything else was worse. The writing, the characters, the story, the setting. It just lacked charm.
Quiet is an awful, underdeveloped and terribly written main heroine, Ocelot and Eli are wasted characters, Codetalker's tapes made me want to rip my ears out and Kaz is a cunt.
There was no fun banter, no inane talks about french wines, no monster hunting, no Strangelove to banter with. V just felt so fucking souless. Eve Motherbase, which was an actul physical location, managed to feel more dead than PW's, which was glorified spreadsheet.

Nope. This is the least story focused game in the series by far, you don't need to play really anything except ground zeroes.

Every mission will take at least 2 playthroughs.
Most will take 3. Try to sneak around and listen in on conversations your first go-through, extracting decent guys and locating where loot crates and resource attaches spawn at.
Your second playthrough will be for the S rank, this involves 9/10 times just speedrunning the mission in the most sanic way possible.
Your third will be to do the side objectives (which are hidden from you your first playthrough anyway, but you'll inevitably get about half of them your first time anyway)

It's not. Don't use a guide, unless you get stuck on something. Nothing in the game is irreversible, (except your kill count), if you miss DD, you can replay mission 3 and get him again, if you kill Quiet in mission 11, you can get her back. There's nothing to worry about.

There are a lot small things that ruin the mission. You can't order quiet to hide, you start with shitty rpg even if you selected CGM at the beginning of the mission, etc.
