Well there's always an optimal strategy for doing any sort of dungeon and your speed is still going to vary based on having exp bonuses and how fast you clear the dungeon.
Even if it's "easy" to finish a dungeon in full heirlooms if you've ever been in a group with people who actually know what the fuck they're doing you'll notice that wow suddenly you've pulled the entire dungeon in two minutes and are done.
Some chunks of leveling are also slower than others. For example you'll get mid 40 to almost 60 done in roughly forty minutes to an hour if you spam runs for dungeon block.

Top priority is Level 2 (or 3) inn, level 3 barracks, and level 3 salvage yard.
What you want is as many followers with the treasure hunter trait as possible and then maybe two or three with scavenger. So what you want is to go to your level 2 inn once a week to pick out a follower with that trait. From there you'll eventually get to the point where you're flooded in garrison resources and you can afford as many follower rerolls as possible to get the best traits. While there is always going to be a more optimal setup for traits and abilities once you have 25 followers you should honestly have a big enough pool to where you can just check on occasion to reroll their stuff.
The salvage yard really helps in upgrading your followers' ilvl and the war mill is another potential fast way to get it up but that assumes you have enough resources to spare (which you eventually will). In addition the salvage yard gives you a potential quick burst of gold in that you can find "rare" BoE transmog and sell it for 100 gold to 80k if you're lucky.

There's really not a lot of money to be made from Savage Blood anymore but the barn is like the only medium offering you direct money so there's that.
I'm running this on seven characters so if you only have one or two Facebook doesn't give you as much profit since at the end of the day your biggest source of income is the fact that you're getting those 40/70/100 gold missions on multiple characters and getting mats for free across almost all your professions.
Shipyard is something to do but like there's NO fucking profit out of it.
