-I also hated that all of the "WE NEED YOU TO DO THIS TO WIN THE WAR!" quests had basically nothing to do with the war itself, but were random "meet everyone" missions that contributed basically nothing to each faction's combat effectiveness.
-The battle for Hoover dam was such utter shit it makes the Liberty Prime escort of Fallout 3 look like an epic full scale war.

A Courier doing all the shit in NV makes more sense than a Vault Dweller in 1 and 3, a Tribal chucklefuck in 2, and Nora in 4. Nate is the only other protagonist who could realistically fuck people up, and he sucks.

Apparently, if you join the Railroad, they give you a way to give your clothing defense. I don't want to do it because I have Berserker weapons, which means I have to stay on low defence for that massive, massive damage bonus. But you can do it.
If you don't want to join the railroad, I think there is a command to do it.
