I'm pretty sure it's slashing except for the charged R2 when tricked. The easiest way to check that sort of thing is to look for shockwaves and dust on the hits that touch the ground.

Hes an even more aggressive version of ludwig in his first phase and that took me 40-50 trys.
Funny thing is i have his first phase down to a T, but everything else after that 1 shots me instantly since im on new game+

With the other souls games you at least had a limited amount of estus whenever you rested at a bonfire. If i run out of vials I have to go monotonously grind until I get enough for 10-20 vials. waht the fuck

I get you, I literally just finally unlocked FRC for the first time today.
Farmed blood gems for 3 hours then quit forever.
I'm settling for 5 decent gems, none max attack, but fuck farming for a perfect gem.
3 stamina cost gems for my saw, 1 weapon durability down bloodtinge gem, and a stamina cost HP regen gem for my parry gun.

Farming is your punishment for getting hit all the time/not rallying/not stocking up with leftover echoes.
If you're playing smart, and healing conservatively (like you would in DaS) you don't get this problem.
