The sword getting tricked is a shot and a backstep. R1 is light shot. Hold R2 is heavy shot. L2 is swinging the arrow like a dagger. Tricking from bow is a stab.

Nah. Doing it in the caves actually works. the moment you see them, run to them, bait the attack, parry, and you'll actually not take frenzy damage because you'll have iframes during the entirety of the parry animation.
The caves also lets you fight one at a time.

Literally amazing. You should down parry cunts with the MLG lazers and black sky, you shut down loch cunts with the Axe L2, you shut down BoM spammers with the spray, you shut down everything. The Axe just dominates when they're not parrying with it's reach and damage, and the MLG covers all your gaps. Damage on both is huge too, with the right gems.

The difficulty of this dlc is an intention piece of the design, not because they wanted the game to be hard just for the sake of it being hard but because they were trying to show you how much of a living nightmare that the Hunter's Nightmare actually is. Just about everything in this nightmare is meant to be brutal and difficult and challenging because it's a literal nightmare.
You walk into the lair of a transformed, horrifying beast of a hunter who held out the longest of all hunters, Ludwig and as we know the longer you hold out the more horrible of a beast you become. Not only is he one of the greatest hunters but this makes him one of the strongest beasts ever when you think of it. Ludwig is going to kick your ass up an down the Underground Corpse Pile because that's who he is. He's a nightmare of a beast and in his second form he's the nightmare of all hunters.

i have 220 hours on an arcane build. all weapons that aren't split are good arcane weapons
i disagree with the meme image very strongly on this one point -- you shouldn't remain at base STR/SKL. literally why the fuck wouldn't you invest ~10 stat points to unlock 10+ weapons, especially if you are going to waste time with the hellish chalice grind?
the only reason to remain at base stats is for twinking or ridiculous 70-99 arcane gouges. for a comfy 50 arc build there is no reason to remain at base

This is my main issue with Bloodborne. Farming wasn't required in DS/DS2 for this shit. It sucks. Demons Souls you had to farm for grass but they fixed it in DS. I wish we did not have 3 things leveling our damage.
I was helping someone out with Ludwig and he died instantly after the MLGS cutscene...I have heard of this happening but WTF...
