Personally, I believe that if a character can 1v1 Aatrox, he is fucking broken. Illaoi is double broken because she can destroy you no matter how large lead you have. I never understood why fiddle never became popular in NA solo queue. Korean solo queue used to be filled with fiddles that were some of the most terrifying players you'd ever encounter. Mobis are better on supports in general but I like swifties on sona because her own Q breaks the movespeed passive on mobis. Swifities give you good ms while allowing you to Q while chasing/running. And since a huge portion of Sona's kit is her passive you cannot retain the movespeed from mobis and also apply her passive in any way, and when chasing purple chords are important.

I feel like akali is really fucking good this patch. Since upgraded red sweepers no longer reveal stealth you're relatively safe. Since ADCs actually matter this patch, being able to nuke them makes an impact in the fight. The changes to your ult makes sticking to people a lot easier than it should be. AP item cost reductions make your level 6 all in or roam ridiculous.

Lots of CC? Mikaels
AP? Locket
AS? Frozen Heart
Crits? Randuins
Want to split push? Banner or ZZ'rot
At start you buy some pots and your gold income item accordingly:
Melee/Tanky supp? Relic Shield
AP Poke/Mage supp? Spellthief's Edge
Utility/Heal supp? Ancient Coin
These are not set in stone and depends on your playstyle (ie. Thresh with Coin instead of Shield)
Lux is somewhat decent as support, but you have to play it like a kill-lane. The snare is really good for picking up kills and she can harass melee picks easily.
The catch is that once you finish laning, you can't peel for shit and you'll probably be a watered down AP carry.
Building damage is ok if you're doing well, just don't forget to build Sightstone.
