Mission spoiler:Four Fierce Kongous at the same time, followed by two Dyaus Pitas (the new ones) at the same time, then four Sekhmets, and finally two Corrosive Hannibals.The key here is to kill the Kongous in less than 10 minutes, otherwise you need to rush the rest of the fights like a crazy person. Well yeah, practically everything you do progresses the time, aside from just walking around. Gathering materials, travelling on the world map, and crafting anything uses time. It mainly serves to prevent you from grinding excessively or repeating something over and over again.
There's also item requests that expire in 30 days or whatever, but you can still turn them in for some credit. The time limit isn't that strict.

If they had sword skills / gun skills, I guess. Or an expansion on the totally not a lightsaber swords. Sci fi is my favorite setting, but melee's my go-to in games like that, not that I don't like shooting (it's satisfying as fuck, especially in PVP with friends likeDestiny) but I think a proper melee combat system would be the most fun.
