Besides teaching a new guy basic shit, at best I think the coach can look through your matches and point out stuff you should be more aware off. Depending on the game rest is match up tips, how to fully utilize your tools in neutral/pressure/defense, etc. Gitting gud is entirely up to the player in the end though.
