>What is Tree of Savior?
Tree of Savior is a new action MMORPG with a lot of classes and cute hats. IMC Games have shown an interest in an international release, and has begun testing the game in various other languages, including English and Japanese, even whilst the Korean version is still in testing. The game is currently in the beta phase, and not fully released.

There's something very weird going on, when i get to tenet chappel I'm like severely raped unless I'm a shield wielding class. But if I go like 10 levels later even as an archer with a 2h bow, the enemies don't really deal any damage to me, like 18, and they hit me pet for half of that.
Are these normal prices? I feel like I'm getting ripped off.

Yeah, I played both cleric and wizard. Pyromancer melts everything down in a few seconds and can run around while doing so. Cleric/Priests have to stand there and tickle those egnomes while getting hit.

It's quite easy for me to kill stuff as Archer2 -> Sapper3. I don't even have a highly enchanted weapon; my Bullet Shooter crossbow is a mere +8. But it's an alt, so the money for upgraded weapons all came from my main. Recipe drops can sustain my Concentrated Lv5 potion chugging though.

Hoplite and Doppel are not pvp classes at all, if the enemies move a centimeter you are fucked and with a 50 seconds CD. Maybe getting throwing spear and pray you can bind them but it's only 60% chance and you lose the spear damage.

Sorc damage report
lvl 5 cat at 180 gives 40 mdef regardless of your accessories and like 50 dark attack, while overwriting any of your and nearby party members buffs.
Putting points in summoning isn't exactly great, because 10 star shooter already has 2323 attack at lvl 1 summoning and each level in it only adds 10% of your int on top of it.
Fiery Salami is fucking useless and gets in a way when you are using summon, necro summons are much better.
Familars are good for burst and in pvp since they will home on targets even off-screen. Needless to say summon's damage and hp is also great for pvp.

Stabbing locks you in place until you finish using it, cancel it or you get interrupted, so you can't use it while mounted. In fact, every Cataphract skill locks you in place, with the only exception of Rush which is at Circle 3.
If you are only planning on picking Cataphract for 2H Spears, then I would say it is not really that good. You will get a lot more damage output by going into Corsair or Doppel, even if you are using 1H weapons.
The only reason for taking Cataphract is for moving fast, but you sacrifice dealing more damage.

I am building one right now as my third swordie character (after having one at 200 and one at 130). I can't tell you much about it right now, but here is what I am planning on doing:
Using a 2:1 STR/DEX ratio but only after reaching Barbarian, early game is just all into STR and maybe a point of DEX here and there.
I am planning on doing Sword>Peltasta>Barb3>Fencer. But any other build works too after Barb: Corsair2, Doppel, even Squire.
We will see how it goes. Reset scrolls are free anyways.

Energy bolt does as much damage as my auto attack. I can't jump+cast it, and it uses SP. I might as well have sleep and lethargy since earthquake isn't too much better, though I might put the points in sleep in earthquake later. Energy bolt is literally useless to me though.

Go to the story Demon Prison and try to find an empty spot with the bigger mobs. North part of the first floor or the four rooms on the second floor are the best. Depending on how good your solo capabilities are and how crowded it is you might get better exp solo, just something to keep in mind.
Once you are lv151ish you can move on to the 2nd Demon Prison and hunt the tree mobs there for shitloads of exp. Same thing applies, if you can reasonably solo it's faster than doing it in a group.
Sadhus are fucking OP in pvp.
The will trap you and will just kill you since there is no way of blocking a magical attack especially when you're a swordie.
Then again this game will probably get some pvp-centric gears by then.

You should fire energy bolt or ice bolt while jumping, it really helps.
Also a general tip with wizard is to spam jump after every skill, it will cancel the animations and you can do shit faster (really noticeable with ice pike for example).

It is too situational, but if you can time it right for the last hit then you will the double bonus. One or two points should be enough, for those occasions where you get to use it.
But then again, I don't think anyone is bothering leveling past 200, so most of us are stuck with 9~10 skill points, which we use on Cyclone, Deeds of Valor and Mordschlag (or reset to test the skills, then move onto other characters).

Possession + zaiba build basically stops you from your track and makes you immobile and unable to use skills then they drop Zaiba on you and it kills you from max hp since it will be smacking you for 600~800 damage per tick.

get flame ground first, its what you will use most of your life as a pyro1 (jump hit to agro stuff, kill them with ground)
fireball gets good at pyro2, its kind of lackluster with 1, and really only something you use for bossess. With pyro2 though things change. most of the time you use gorund only against bossess, and kill whole groups of things with a cast or two of fireball, since it tics faster its more convinient
enchant fire 5 is good too, it procs blessing, good for grouping, and at 5 its permanent (dont invest in the attribute, it raises its cooldown)
pyro2 with 10 ground and ball, 5 fire pillar, and 5 enchant fire, is probably the optimal pyro build. pyro3 seems unnecessary to me. 1 can be good if you are going to do something extreem like linker3, but it will lean on flame ground more

Not that guy but boss fights rarely last longer than a minute for pyros. If it does, then it's 1 minute and 35 seconds max. I've only made it to level 130 though, so I don't know how it's like for later bosses. Also, keeping the boss on flame ground/pillar for the entire duration is no problem 85% of the time. Just hug the boss throughout the entire battle while jump attacking if everything is on cool down.

Is this like the closest to full support you could go? Priest just doesn't seem worth going into past 1 rank. You can get ressurect and max it to have an easy mid fight rezz for when iCoins aren't handed out like candy.
Being a Diev/Oracle you won't really have to worry about buff limit since all of your buffs will come from statues which are area buffs that won't get eaten. Unless you get the SP increase in Oracle but nobody will want that buff because they will have some type of % draining spell and the SP reduce from your statue will take care of swordsman/archers costs.
Oracle is just something that can still have 2 more ranks put into it when they release more.
I know it will be torture to level up but from what I have experienced I enjoy playing a support role much more than a DPS or "tank" in this game.
The damage system in this game reminds me of Warframe for some reason. Just like in that game if you don't have a decent pool of health or mods/abilities that help you not to die you're pretty much getting one-shot'd by everything late game. I believe Cleric's Safety Zone as well as Druids invincibility AOE will become very important during endgame. It's already a life saver for me at lvl 180, I just wish I had chosen 2 circles of Cleric instead of just one for that sweet Fade and 10 extra hits on Safety Zone

My goal is to get to the 10+ seconds of damage immunity statue at circle 3 of Diev. Having all of these statues to help competent players could makeup for my lack of damage ability. Oracle is just a placeholder unless they don't bring out anythign else supportish.

No, double punch does not trigger cafrisun set or sacrament. Only auto attacks do, not skills. Best set for damage are the equips that get elemental damage from awakenings.

As a Melee combat focused class, you'll want to have the aggro on yourself to be able to dish out your skills onto the masses. But with a pet, they sometimes pull half of the crowd themselves which is unfortunate. And if you think about soloing a dungeon, forget it because your pet stupidly runs through the crowd and back, pulling more enemies than you can handle. But it's nice during story bosses that they are often distracted by the pet and the pet is unkillable so... more freedom for you.
I keep the pet because of levelling purposes, I want a new character to benefit from my pet one-shotting weak enemies later.

The default order the AI has is Rush Dog. He uses it at about every 3 hits or so. Whenever I order him to do any other task, such as Pointing or Growling, he gains the skill's buff icon. His AI will, from that point forward and until the buff ends, do nothing but what I command of him.
Should I order him to Growl, he will do so for the entire duration of the buff(10 minutes), or until I somehow force him to cancel it by moving away. Growling forces him to stand still and not move, and he will not auto Rush Dog, since I ordered him to do something else. I may command him to Rush Dog manually every 5 seconds, which is what I do. it costs SP, but for the benefit of having bosses do nothing but take damage, it's well worth it.
Monster CAN resist the skill, but it's not really an issue since he recasts the buff around him at about every 3 seconds, and the debuff lasts a full 10 seconds. Even if they do resist it, they're afflicted again before they can move away or use an attack.

They take some damage and agro for you when dealing with mobs, but their damage sucks at higher levels. They are good for leveling alts though. You can get your pet to a high level then pass it around to your other characters to let it carry them through early game. Targets caught on fear can't move either. Getting targets caught is not hard matter. Just order the rat to Rush Dog, which will cause it to dart to the enemy, and then trigger Growling.
Or you could trigger it anywhere and lure them boss near it.
It's useful for more than just bosses, too. The buff lasts a whole 10 minutes with a single activation, meaning you could trigger it somewhere with large mob density(demon prison, for instance), stand near the pet, and not have to worry about being hit at all. In essence, anything that comes within a few steps of you becomes neutralized indefinitely.

Not a history master here, but I guess hoplites, cataphracts and peltastas are the oldest. Don't know exactly about highlanders, but barbarians are probably next, with rodeleros and squires being middle ages. Fencer, Doppelsöldner and corsair are from the modern age.
Wugushi is probably very old, so is fletcher. Falconer must be more recent, and Schwarzer reiter is the modern age one.
Buddhism is old as fuck, So I guess sadhu and monks are the oldest of the clerics. krivis, dievdirbys and druids are all pagan so I guess that comes next, with paladin, priest and pardoner next.

Quarrelshooter3 is fucking OP, got grounded hard in PVP with that 14secs(!) stun. Like, they just autoattack me to death and reapply the stun once it's near end. I even think that's an overheat skill. I'll never go into PVP against them again, near impossible if you can't silence them or mute their casttime if they have any. Every other fight, I'll fight victoriously or use tactical ground but against them, no chance.

It's an Archer skill, I think. Full Draw. The only skill that can pin me down, 11secs stun,twice useable because overheat so you can stun up to 22secs. Also 20secs cooldown. Something should be done about field bosses.
As they are right now, it's a complete shitfest with 30 people rushing them at the same time.
Either they should be given some sort of ability to counter that (teleport when too many people are hitting it at once, or do a OHKO AoE), or the number of cubes they drop should be limited only to the party that did the most damage.
Right now, rare materials are recipes flood the market and have lost all their value.

Mineloader and Cerb MIGHT .. but no one has come clean it honestly feels like they don't exist on our server.
I've fought cerb 3 times and mineloader 3 times since the beta began.

TempleShooter I know is a straight 4 hr timer as is the other Constructor chapel bosses.
Necroventer, Harpeia, FireLord and Marionette are 4hrs as well in each channel (if there are multiple channels)
Dullahan is on 1 hour and 55 minutes from time of death till his summoning crystal returns on each channel.
