I won 12 straight hero league games on my first road to rank 1. I was happy at first, then very suspicious of the matchmaking.
And of course, after that, I lost something like 10 of my next 11 games games. I guess the matchmaking had enough. It was also at that point that I realised if you're just solo queueing, your ranked in rank doesn't mean that much since most of what determines if you're going to win or lose is based on luck with the matchmaking system rather than your own skill, but that win streak was fun while it lasted.

Most heroes only fit 2 of the three. Tyrande is the first that comes toind as powerful, versatile, and having a high skill cap. Kharazim, too, though his damage build is extremely situational and you just want to go full healing 99% of the time. Abathur is incredibly powerful in the right hands, and has multiple builds depending on map and team comp, but he's completely different from anyone else and may not be your cup of tea.

You need to increase your mmr if you wish to not see low leveled people in your games. Consider starting a whole new account and play at least a hundred games with as positive win ratio.

Ok, I'm still trying to level up from 17 to 40 here. Should I just stick to versus AI since I observe that quite a number of teammates I play with still havent gotten rid of their other MOBA mentality of sticking into a lane when HotS downright encourages early teamfights? It makes Quick Matches frustrating when it happens on your team no matter how much you try to warn them to help you on an objective
