Gems are for skins or chest rolls when appropriate. Favor is for buying all of the fluff shit you'll never use so chest rolls don't shaft you with things you don't want. Playing without the god pack is unfun and severely limits your ability to counter pick or fill in well for a team, which drags down the game for you and everyone else you are playing with.

Pros
>fountain and titan separation
In no other game mode do they have the Titan so far away that you can't heal while defending it. This makes end game pressure actually mean something, its a neat idea.
>it's fast
Everyone does that first buff and then meets in the middle to fight, you're always fighting and one lane is always pushing an advantage on the other, and these advantages appear and dissapear very quickly. This is shaping up to be one of the fastest game modes.
Cons
>the jungle is a mess
The jungle walls are more random than anything else. It takes you longer to get to the blue buff than it takes you to rotate to another lane or to the GF/FG. There's even a couple of dead-ends in the jubgle, the fuck is that about?
>it's crowded
The map is so tight, that whenever you kill someone a teammate reaplaces them almost instantly. Unless you decide, dive if, or are coordinated with your team, you never have the safety to push a tower. Same goes for Fire Giant, nobody is ever going to get one because it takes multiple people and it takes them long enough to do that the other team will most definitely be there, and they can be there in 4 seconds.

Five people have to get in and out of that tiny door? With only one entrance that an Ymir can cock block, that's just dumb design.

Red buff is good, but its not exactly game changing. I really don't give a fuck if they have it. Besides that, there's only three buffs on the entire map, and 10 people. This goes back to it being crowded but there's just not enough buffs or jungle to go around.
Just a few thoughts for the thread. Clash is pretty shit right now, but I have some hope that it can be made into something good.

I only have him mastery level 2, and while I'm proficient and I see his potential I just can't work well with him personally. Something about his kit doesn't click with me. I will say try to buy some cooldown pretty early on, like Breastplate of Valor. It makes him stance switching super useful and viable.
