the big problem was the game was just deathballs: the macro strategy game
for the wings and swarm expansion, do games start to finally look like brood war games at high level? becaus before it was just build 2-4 expansions and deathball and that was the most boring shit
they just took an amazing game and completely changed it for no reason at all, 5 mins per travel and re-arranged tech trees and mineral/gas costs etc. No reason at all, then they nerfed siege mode and psy storm and there were no broodlings or defiler plague so deathballs just ran rampant

I think what ruined sc2 is the fact that they took brood war and then butchered it with a cleaver and changed all the unit values and tech trees and game pacing and then nerfed all area of effect damage potential and then gave expansions/bases too many resources so you can just sit on them forever without having to actually expand into the map
