Just got a BenQ RL2455HM gaming monitor (said to have 1ms with correct setup, meaning native res and digital signal, but people have said its good at doin VGA without much delay aswell)
Using a setup to play Melee (and possibly PM if anyone cares)
Wii with component cables
VGA box from Mayflash (VGA005, tested by many and has a proven "conversion" rate of 0.1ms due to it being analog-analog)
Monitor settings is set to "full" and "instant mode" which is default.
Just measured Input delay using Dan Salvatos Debug menu delay test-code and clocked in at a 0 frames (meaning the delay is less than a 60th of a second). Gameplay feels nice and responsive, will compare to CRT later, but I don't think there will be much of a difference.
Will also try other ways to measure input delay from inside Melee using high-speed camre whenever I have the chance, I work with photography so I might get the chance.
